The hotel was very conveniently located, walking distance from the old town. We were given connecting rooms which were very comfortable and the “status welcome” was very good. The beds were very comfortable. We did not have breakfast so we cannot comment on its quality. The receptionist on arrival and the bar staff were very good but, unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the lady receptionist on our leaving who was extremely rude and unhelpful…

Jak na tą sieć hoteli to hotel jest bardzo przeciętny. Pokoje słabej jakości . Sniadania bardzo słabe.

Not as expected. Clogged drain in the shower. Clogged drain in the sink. Waited too long for the dinner. Sausages and scrambled eggs, but no bacon for breakfast. The breads for the breakfast were hard as a brick and definitely not made that morning. The cleaning staff knocked on our door before nine in the morning and asked us if we were ready to leave, and if not, when we had planned to do so. Many things that were all unnecessary and disappointing.

I used to frequently stay in Accor hotels but have stopped some 2-3 years ago and are now staying almost only at Hilton and Mariott. For this hotel though, I make an exception. The historic building was built roughly 1000 years ago and leads to this hotel being special. Location is good as it’s walking distance to the train station and downtown Hildesheim. Parking is reasonably priced, breakfast has good quality and the family rooms are very spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed now for the 4th time and would always book again when visiting Hildesheim. The rooms and furniture are a little dated were not spotless clean during our last stay. Furthermore, it was difficult to properly heat the room as it was very cold outside. But those comments don’t change the overall positive experiences I have made over the years.
