Just what you need for a short stop over in Neu-Isenburg. Central and in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Do not book the standard room, for the extra €5-€10 the modern room changes your view on this hotel. I’m sure you can guess from my pictures which room is the cheaper of two. Room was nice and compact, nothing more nothing less. Shower had good power and hot water, room cleaned each day. A small gym area for a quick workout and continental breakfast each morning. Coffee could be better. Staff very pleasant on check-in and in the bar area. Will return while on business trips from Ireland 🇮🇪

Single duvet on double bed - not OK!!

I booked a privilige room with king size bed for 1 night. After a long tiring day, I arrived late at the hotel. The room looked fine. I had dinner, took a shower, and wanted to settle under the duvet. It was a single duvet... This is not comfortable to sleep under. I booked a double bed, not a single, so I could enjoy a large spacious bed. Now I had to make sure I stayed under the single duvet! Also only 1 set of towels. When I wash my long hair, I need an extra towel. I paid for a double room, everywhere else, I get the advantagesof a double room. Not here. It was too late and I was too tired to call reception, and to get dressed to open the door.

Since your room was booked for single occupancy, it is customary for us to provide one duvet and one set of towels. Of course, we would have been happy to provide you with an additional blanket or more towels upon request. If you had informed us directly at the reception, we would have organized this for you immediately. Additionally, we would like to point out that on each floor, opposite the elevators, there are extra towels available for our guests to use at any time. Arrived lateish, just after 11pm directly from the airport. The hotel doors were looked and there was a sign to call a number. I called several times and ended up with a voice mail in German only. Ended up having to bang on the door to alert one of the guests in the bar who could let me in. Finally the night staff arrived and they had a lot of difficulties logging in, had no info that I booked with breakfast. The whole check in took well over 30 minutes. I have never felt so unwelcomed at a hotel. Rooms were ok but very warm. Comfy bed. Bathroom ok but with very think towels. Breakfast was ok but nothing special at all. I will never stay here again and I dont think this is a 4 star hotel, 3 is more like it

Airport themed hotel with very good price/quality ratio

Was staying here only for 1 night driving back from a meeting, and I was nicely surprised as I was staying in another Mercure few days before and didn't like that one. The decoration in this hotel is excellent! Friendly and helpful staff at the reception, good asian restaurant just next door - it is great that we could order there and the hotel staff brought our plates to the hotels restaurant. The room was clean. Breakfast was a tiny bit disappointing - I didn't like the eggs (too hard,dry), otherwise enough choices.
