Went to the hotel in August and it did not disappoint. Beautiful entrance and amazing rooms. Everything high spec. I had messaged a lovely supervisor in the hotel before arriving to ask some questions and were so so helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely fresh daily juice specials and egg / omelette. Spa was a highlight too. Free of charge and has easy access from the room via a special lift. Huge pool, nice sun terrace and sauna / steam room. Went to bar at night a few times. Staff there generally ok. Because of the spa this is my go to hotel for Berlin.

We booked the hotel for its convenient location near the Zoologischer Garten station, for our comfort when travelling, and we requested a room on a high floor, overlooking the zoo – the view over the whole Tiergarten park was spectacular! (Though the traffic from Budapester Str. can be heard all night; if you prefer a quiet room, just ask for the other side of the hotel, which doesn't face the busy street.) The room was big and nicely furnished, with cozy lights and lots of space for our luggage, and we especially liked the bathroom with its simple, modern design. Everything super clean. TV & AC work fine. We enjoyed the hotel spa and the pool, which turned out much bigger & nicer than we'd expected! We were warmly greeted by a nice lady (sadly, I forgot her name) who provided us with fresh towels and all necessary information. The breakfast buffet was huge, with a big variety of food & drinks, and we enjoyed it a lot every morning. Everything was fresh & tasty. We also liked the morning staff, especially three ladies: Annett, Yolanda & Nurija, who were always making sure we had all we needed, in a very professional yet friendly way :-) The entrance & front desk staff were also highly professional and very, very friendly, always smiling! :-) Overall, the genuine smiles on the faces of each and every member of the hotel staff was the best part of our stay; these days you simply don't take it for granted, but Pullman Schweizerhof deliver in great style! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Good location, average hotel, rude staff

The hotel is in a convenient location and within short walking distance of good transport links. However, we found the staff to be quite stand offish and rude, especially at reception. The breakfast is very average and not worth the money - I’d recommend going out. The rooms are okay but could do with renovation. For the cost, there are much better luxury hotel options in Berlin.

The hotel's location is absolutely great. There are lots of things within walking distance, and public transport is easy to access. No upgrade was given for our Diamond loyalty status, and there was no explanation that it was impossible, as they are fully booked, etc. It's not a big issue as it was only for two nights, and apart from that, the staff is friendly and helpful. On the negative side, I reckon that it is time for renovation of the rooms as they are not at all 5-star 🤷‍♂️

This hotel, where we stayed before, is our preferred one in Berlin. The wonderful Albert greeted us on the door and took kindly care of our luggage and offered infused water which literally saved our lives after the long, exhausting journey. The check in was uncomplicated and fast, our usual room was available. The swimming pool offered relaxation after the amazing breakfast. The only thing to mention is that in the middle of the night as I couldn't sleep I wanted to make myself a cup of tea and I realised that there was only one single sugar on the hot drink tray so I went downstairs to the night receptionist and he made the same mistake as the housekeeping service seemed to have made during day time, offering me coffee whitener instead of sugar ( they seem very easy to be confused because looking similar if not reading properly the label ) and he couldn't find any sugar on his own tray in the cupboard. For a hotel of that size with that rating and a worldwide re-known chain name it is rather poor that in a double room with 2 people is only 1 sugar provided and downstairs none at all. Please make sure housekeeping staff to be trained to double check and it would be nice if at least the reception could stock some. Thank you for taking this to your attention. We are looking forward to visit your hotel again.
