My daughter in law booked and paid for 2 rooms but the hotel charged me for the 3 night stay again after our departure and even after I have mailed and sent them proof of the charge I have had no response from them and it has changed my whole memory of my visit

Very stressful experience

We visited at the beginning of December. Having paid upfront direct with the hotel on our departure they charged us for our stay again. Having challenged this we were ashore they had refunded this. Two of our party were not refunded and despite contacting the hotel have been ignored with no refund. A week later the others in our party have had more money taken off our card without permission or explanation. Again the hotel ignore all correspondence. We are currently going through our credit card company to hopefully reclaim our money. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

I was delighted with be location of this hotel within walking distance of a lot of Berlin’s main attractions. It was Also quite easy to get to the hotel from Berlin Brandenburg airport. A direct train to the Zoologischer train station which was 5 mins away. Our main purpose of our visit to Berlin was to explore the Xmas markets and there was a lovely one just 5 mins away . The hotel itself is very modern with quite unusual design touches which make it really stand out from the others. They use Zoo/animal theme references through out given its proximity to the Berlin Zoo. Our Room was spacious with all modern conveniences including a fully stocked mini bar. We ate in the hotel restaurant on one of the nights and really enjoyed our meal there. The hotel also boasts a leisure center and swimming pool but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to use them on this occasion. Hopefully next time.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The entrance is really beautiful with the lights, The rooms are ok, ours had a double bed and a chair bed, the room was quite small but sufficient. The one issue i had was the air conditioning is turned off, the windows don’t fully open and even with them open as much as they can the room was extremely stuffy, especially considering it’s size and that 3 people were sleeping in it. It made it very uncomfortable at night, i’m also menopausal so chose a hotel that specifically advertised it had air conditioning! The air con is probably not needed in the reception and communal areas however the rooms are a different story! The breakfast was nice, 3 different areas to eat, one we never used so i presume this is for the “elite” I didn’t like the fact that i’m the room with the windows tables were reserved, then for the entirety of our breakfast they were never occupied, we got pushed into a corner in a not very nice seat because tables were reserved that were never used!? The lifts in the morning are very slow and although there are 3 they seem to be overcrowded, to the point i got out of one as people just kept squashing themselves in rather than patiently wait for the next lift!! overall nice hotel, would recommend if you aren’t menopausal or can sleep in hot rooms

Hotel was very clean and convenient. In house restaurant was very good. The only thing that I would suggest improving is the concierge. The only thing I would improve was the concierge. He was not helpful... Desk staff was good and helpful each time we visited them.
