Good location.

Great location. We were on the bottom floor facing the Main Street. Room was clean and semi refurbished. Still very 90s vibe with an older bathroom. Breakfast was super average - we would go up around 8am and the food was either running out or old and soggy. The egg station was unmanned and whilst had potential to be good. It wasn’t. Overall the location was the main sell, rooms are clean and tidy but when you are paying over $500 AUD you tend to judge more harshly.

Nice stay

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, were were on the ground floor, the hotel is in a great position to explore the town, we had dinner one night in the bar area, the food was nice and well presented. Our room was excellent it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay, this is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting this area. We went on the cable car ride and the Luge experience, well worth it and great views of the town. Just one word of warning. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BOOK THIS HOTEL AND YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY CAR, YOU MUST PRE BOOK A PARKING SPACE WITH THE HOTEL. We had booked through a third party and arrived about 19.00 in the evening, parking then is an absolute nightmare, we used MAN Street car park overnight 25 Dollars if you collect your car before 10am , we then parked on Adelaide Street, this is free all day, about 10 mins walk from the hotel, then Man Street again overnight

Great location by the lake

The hotel is functional and has no particular charm. It caters for groups and individual travelers. Good breakfast buffet, but don’t bother with any other meals, since they’re plenty of places to eat nearby.

Not a 4 Star Hotel, but the price sure is.

This is not a 4 star hotel and the price is premium! Plus, no parking for hotel guests, although that’s how it was promoted. The bathroom had missing paint and crackling. The mountain view: yes, we got that, past the shops. Not what I expected for a property that touts itself as a 4 star.

Nice hotel in amazing location but no parking for guests

Nice hotel in an amazing location - arguably the best in town. Perfect for families with young kids as the beachfront playground was outside our door if you're in the wing closer to the beach. However, hotel did not communicate that we needed to reserve parking and when we showed up after a LONG flight, they left us to fend for ourselves to find street parking during a very busy week. We stayed for 4 nights and no parking was available during the time. The front desk should have communicated to guests at time of reservation to also make reservation for car parking. When we checked in, the front desk made it seem like it was pretty frequent that valet parking runs out sounds like this is a common issue. Given price paid, I would have expected better communication on this point
