Great hotel but watch put for Mosquitos!

Great location for city in less than 10 mins walk. Breakfast buffet ok, all cold food, no hot. Rooms cosy but functional. Watch out for Mosquitos! Keep your window shut or be bitten. Hotel only warning is in lift on small piece of paper on wall in lift.

Just outside the train station, quiet, with good air-conditioning. Friendly and efficient multilingual staff, simple clean room, good breakfast, only think I didn't like is the coffee, all in all very good value for money, ideal for a short stay.

It was a nice stay with ibis, location was great. The cleaning was not good, I found some hair on the bed, on the floor and in the shower from previous customers. I took pictures too. Other than that, we were very happy to return again. I would like to thank to a staff Camila at front desk. It was 27 June. She was very friendly and helpful. She is definitely a gem for your company.

Compact but absolutely fine for a 3 night stay. Excellent reception staff. Decent value for Money.

Stayed for 3 nights and the room was small but fine for this length of stay. We booked a triple room to give a bit more storage space and this worked well although USB charging would have been nice, as would a kettle and drink making facilities. It's not well advertised on here or indeed anywhere I saw but the hotel let us check in a couple of hours early (a Godsend) and I noticed others checking in even earlier on other days although I expect this is only outside the busiest months The buffet breakfast is small but decent value at 10 euros (pay for these in one go rather than each morning otherwise you wated time queuing like we did!). It can be a little hard to find from the train station but turn right on exit, head for the ground level car park pay station and take the lift up one flight before taking a second different lift up to the hotel: it's quite simple: we asked our ticket inspector as she was leaving the station as I know she spoke good English. There is an excellent free shuttle bus in the nearby bus station which runs every twenty minutes from 7 till 7: try to get there a few minutes early as the bus is quite small and popular at peak times). It is however a lovely 10-15 minute walk to the centre and you can and should try and walk via the lovely Minnewater park if you can as it's one of the most picturesque parts of Bruges. We didn't encounter mosquitoes as it was unseasonably cool but I would definitely take repellent. Oh one final thing and last but not least: the reception staff are one of the best things about this hotel: Ilona and Freek (yeah you read that right) were really helpful and friendly. I would ignore the more negative reviews: we are fairly well travelled and at about £70 a night this is good value for its location if you don't mind a walk.
