I paid for my total stay when I arrived. A few days latter a random amount was charged on my credit card. This was eventually refunded by the hotel but I am out of pocket by $30 on transaction fees. The hotel refuses to compensate me for their error. Totally unacceptable!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ibis Hotel Shoreditch. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the restaurant was excellent. A special thanks to Rosane, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive. We look forward to staying here again!

On Sunday morning was woken by cleaning staff with loud knocks on the door, this was at 9:30am and they said they required to clean the room, I said, what time is checkout and the cleaner said in 1 hour. This was not true, and reception confirmed when we checked out. Ruined our sleep and spoilt our visit.

Other than the location this hotel is extremely poor especially considering the price. I was there 4 out of 5 days as they had to move me hotels on the 4th day because there are no standards of cleaning at all. Everybody day they would put 'new' towels in the room and everyday they always had brown (faeces) and red (blood) stains on most of the towels. The hotel didn't seemed concerned by this at all, just ' we will get you a new one' which still didn't get checked. This hotel is not clean at all, on first appearance it looks clean but when you look closer you will see all sorts of stains in all sorts of areas of the hotels. On to the room, there were stains on the curtains, walls, carpets and these were not cleaned throughout my stay even though I brought it up with management every day. The final straw was when I was told my room had been deep cleaned twice by the manager and there were still pubes in the shower and hairs on the walls and ceilings. I was offered another room that I was told had been deep cleaned to find pubes all round shower and some how on the sink Also there was a stench in all the rooms I saw Breakfast did have a good selection but the quality was poor, the sausage I wouldn't even feed to anybody. Food was always over cooked and seemed over salted. Juice machine barely worked and as for staff they just stood around chatting when you went to approach they just walked off. The lady manager on duty, I do not want to name was friendly and approachable but was left speechless by the end because of the lack of cleaning even after speaking to the cleaning supervisor 3 times Do not stay here as you do not know when the last time anything was cleaned

Amazing! During our stay, Rosane made our breakfast even better! She gave us tips about the city and always had a smile on her face (like a true Brazilian). Also, rooms were clean and organized. And the british breakfast as a grest experience. Thanks!
