The hotel is perfectly located close both to an S-Bahn and an U line. It is very new, quiet, in an area ideal for travellers: plenty of restaurants and lively pubs around. But the breakfast is so gorgeous that you should not need to grab some food until dinner time 😊. The staff is extremely kind and careful to the client's needs.

Overall decent for the price, and good location near U-Bahn and walking distance to the seafront. Main annoying points were how loud the street in front was at night with traffic - buses and lorry’s at all times which made keeping the window open on a hot night not possible. Second was the bathroom cleanliness - there was a yellow stain all around the bottom of the shower when we arrived. Took no time at all to wipe off with a tissue, should’ve been done by housekeeping? Would recommend based on price and location.

Check in is at three. I was not allowed to check-in earlier. Fair enough! At 17:00 I could still not access my room because there was a late checkout. Staff were very friendly. The lift from floor six is not working for some reason. The plumbing does not work so there is a constant low-level hum throughout the morning. For some reason the bar is closed on a Sunday evening. Plenty of better hotels nearby.

Typical Ibis with the style of room you would expect if you have stayed at an Ibis hotel before. Location wise it was close to many bars and restaurants and short stroll from St Pauli U-bahn Station. Only had small interaction with staff and found them helpful. In summary modern hotel in good location.

New style Ibis rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Good location by St Pauli Station. Clean rooms. Only disapointment was the breakfast ( Corona times ) very limited including day old dry bread. Local public transport on your doorsteep
