It was a great experience with hotel, me and friends had a static staycation, specially with beautiful rooms and service, highlights were food and supporting management, during closing time the crew member Mr. Jacob has catered us nicely with food and beverages. We were happy and satisfied.

Excellent service and I had a very enjoyable stay. A special mention to Tanzid who was very helpful. The restaurant was full but he was able to find a table He is an asset to the organisation. I will definitely visit the hotel again

Very comfortable stay, staff were very friendly and welcoming . Breakfast was varied and fairly tasteful. Hotel is next to Excel and accessible to O2 via cable car ( IFS Cloud cable car) tube and taxi.

The Novotel at the Excel Centre is a great option for anyone who doesn't mind a tube ride to the centre of London. However it will depend on there not being an event on at the Excel otherwise pricing is stratospheric. Reception staff were really pleasant and personable. Access to the hotel is excellent, a few minutes walk from the brand new Elizabeth Line station at Custom House. The hotel looks smart externally with an open and bright lobby and reception. The rooms however are smaller than I would have expected, the fittings have an unnerving Ikea-like quality to them with open hanging space, cheaper toiletries (no skin cream/body lotion) and coffee/tea provisions that looked a bit sad. My biggest gripe has to be with the idiot that designed the room layout. If you must have a toilet separate to the bathroom (why?) Then at least have it adjacent to the bathroom itself rather than at the end of the entrance hallway? This involves groping around from toilet to bathroom to wash your hands in the middle of the night with the stupidest layout imaginable. We enjoyed our stay but I'm really not sure the Novotel chain can be described as four star anymore.

Very disappointed! Room we was told was an upgrade but was unclean with stains on the carpet/ sofa and bathroom mould and splash marks over mirrored door. Tap on sink looking very weathered! General cleanliness around lacklustre. Beds ridiculous hard and uncomfortable too. Hotel seeming generally clean but needing updating/ maintenance required. Lift buttons missing which reveals open wiring. Because of all this we did not use restaurant facilities here. Only thing going for it is close proximity to Excel/ Elizabeth line. Definitely would consider other places over here in the future!
