The hotel was welcoming with really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were ok, but VERY hot, and the heating / air con was not easy to fathom out. Even with the window open it was really hot (in December!) and despite finding the aircon cooling eventually, it helped, but not entirely. The bathrooms are also dated - a chipped bath, a broken plug, "tired" generally. However, the breakfast was good. It was good that Athulya came to our table on our second day to take feedback (as above) and she was, like all the reception and other staff, delightful.

Great location next to the train station and five minutes walk to the bars and restaurants etc. Bar and reception very smart. Rooms fine. Clean but a bit tired with lime scale on taps. Room really hot, in December, with the windows open!! When I arrived there were no towels or bath mat in the room- I asked at reception and four hours later they hadn’t arrived. Bit poor.

Great stay! Vijay checked us in and was incredibly helpful and kind. He was also able to help us locate a few spots around town. Amazing service! The breakfast was really great as well. Location is handy, as it’s just a few steps from the DLR and a quick walk into the heart of Greenwich.

We had a great dinner in the Gourmet Bar. Our waiter, Abhay was very kind and took a good care of us. He helped us with our baby’s food and always had a smile. The food was very good and there is a nice choice of beer. It is also well decorated for Christmas. Regarding the hotel room, it is spacious and clean. We recommend this place.

Hotel lobby was very nicely done up for Xmas..rooms were functional and met our needs..town is very interesting with a great fusion of Asian, European and Western cuisine and people..hotel staff were great..especially Vijay..Vijay was excellent with his service, tips and advice..went out of his way to help us with our bags and the taxi..made us feel like we were staying at Buckingham..will visit again just to have a drink with him!
