Old facilities in general, the room was super noisy once the air conditioning condenser is located behind a door into the room. The bathroom is not well maintained, faulty cleanliness. Breakfast was super crowded, no coffee, no fruits, no nothing. Terrible experience. On the othe hand super friendly staff.

Generally good ...I asked for a room on a higher floor when booking which the hotel agreed was possible..only to allocate me although floor then change this aligners floor after pointing it out ....the dark corridors with lights operated on movement detection are a bit unpleasant...as you comenout the lift and the lift doors close you cannot see anything down either corridor..I find this unerving and imagine some female guest would find it difficult even more so

Surprised how bad experience

I stayed in floor 1, and noise was awful. During midnights, the noise of bars outside was too much (I don´t know why you don´t use anti-noise windows), and starting 5am started a very big noise of a machine the hotel turned on (I don´t have idea if the noise is a electric plant, but sounded like that). In summary, I couldn´t sleep well at all. In addition, on second day I was not able to take a bath on-time because the hotel ran off of water.

Water shortage and no B plan

Early in the morning the water had gone and no answer was given or either a b plan. I had to go to work without taking a bath or even brushing my teeth. It seems that the problem was in the water pump and the whole hotel suffered the problem. I expect to have at least some type of compensation on that

My booking was with breakfast included,even thou, the receptionist held me for minutes in front of my sons and called the front desk to verify. At the check out, the front desk showed a frigobar consumption that was not made by me. Maybe because Brasilia is a city of politicians, the hotel staff treat everybody as suspected. The problem I’m not from Brasília, I’m from São Paulo, city where people works. NEVER MORE AT THIS HOTEL. Diamond or not they don’t care.

Credit card as a false guarantee - risk of future fraud using clients data

I would like to rise up against what I consider a malpractice of the Hotel. I went straight to the hotel on a Saturday night (10/11/2021), tired, and although I had previously paid the daily rate, the attendant asked me for my credit card after I had already identified myself with an official document. I understand that I could consume some items in the fridge and stay longer, but the point here is that criminals are always a step ahead, rather in Brazil or in any country. Nowadays, the numbers of a credit card are printed in the back as well as the security code and having to give her my physical card, was the same as exposing the client to a possible cybernetic threat of someone buying stuff with others card. That having said, I strongly advice you to reinforce with your staff to avoid this practice, in spite of the business risks which are involved. It is a balance that weights an unsatisfied client against the possibility of non law-abiding citizens committing crimes such as not paying their bills. I think there is a different approach to this situation and I had not even mentioned the hygienic issue that some could consider.

Good hotel for business trip

Easily accessible and good property in Brasilia. I felt comfortable during the trip despite the online pandemic. There are restaurants and shopping mall across the street if you want to get out of the hotel. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the Uber drivers to find the entry to the hotel, so plan an extra 1-3min for waiting.

Surprisingly Brasilia does not have 5 star hotels, that can live up with the 5 star level as one is used to in the rest of the world. They may comply with the technical requisites, but they do not 'embrace' you equally. But Grand Mercure comes closes. Pleasant service, nice suite, with great views and a superb veranda. The gym is a but simple, but nicely located on the toproof.

Had a couple of days staying and was very impressed with the staff all very helpful . ( a lady at reception was really helpful think her name was Ana ) Facilities were good and had a great swimming pools terrace. Breakfast was also very good. Good location near a shopping Center.

My trip was complete by the attention it was provide by the hotel. Any need was attended by the the hotel employees even when I request to watch NFL game on sunday after my checkout time so they open the bar so I can watch before leave and get to the airport. Very thankfull for that

Grand Mercure is a refurnished hotel, but the structure is old fashion (windows in main restaurant are golden dark given a cloudy sensation of the day), room decoration is OK, view is irrelevant, like Brasilia. Location is good for government business. In short is a good choice for Brasilia.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. It is not super fancy, but it was nice and fairly clean. The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. My room was a little warm, but other than that the distance from the airport is only 15 minutes so the location is perfect.
