I just needed a clean, safe room to sleep in for 3 nights. I was only there to sleep and shower so the Ibis suited the brief. The room Was larger than expected with a comfy enough bed (but only 2 pillows); tea, coffee & milk supplies (jug was a bit rusty inside); towels and body wash supplied. From entry locked at 10 so I felt safe. Room was quiet. Only issue was a drain/sewerage smell. Had I been there during g the day I’d have said something.

I booked a room, thankfully only for one night, the floor was really dirty, it made me uncomfortable walking barefoot and no slippers were provided. The smell in the whole building was quite unpleasant and bed sheets were like paper, pillows were super thin and you could feel the springs in the mattress. Tv remote not working, lights of the room super bright with no cover. Apparently there are permanent families living in some of the rooms, the kids kept running and screaming until 23.30, constantly opening doors that had squeaky hinges. Rooms aren’t noise insulated or even light insulates at all. I felt no privacy and disturbed, mostly uncomfortable, definitely not going there ever again!

Very unhappy stay

All doors on my floor squeaked really badly. People in next room were banging and moving furniture till after midnight 2 nights in a row. Breakfast options were virtually non existent. Most staff not overly friendly when speaking to them and trying to make complaint. Response was "okay, yeah yeah". Would say good morning or good afternoon to them with little or no response at all.

Absolutely terrible place to stay. Booked 2 nights only stayed 1 , no refund

Booked Queen room 2 nights on Booking.com. On arrival told problem with room and given 2 single bed room . Room smells, TV broken, pillows flat, loud people in corridors at 1.30am . Room lighting ridiculously bright , Vanity basin next to bed in room and you can hear neighbours water in drains throughout the night . Appears to be a Refugee Hostel . Stayed 1 night and asked for a refund for the second , to be told No refund on the booking despite not being given the room that we had booked . Don’t stay there . Tried to leave a review on booking.com and , not surprisingly , unable to do so as it appears the hotel has blocked me from reviewing them through that site . Would give zero stars .

Had a pleasant sleep, beware though staff entered my room whilst I was in there, claiming I had a chair I shouldn't have, had to use the rubbish bin to sit on after that. Don't leave your valuables in there and latch the door from inside.Oh had hot water shower and room heater cooler nice bed tv clean
