Very basic, unattractive room with an uncomfortable bed. Poor night's sleep. Bathroom in contrast was spacious and well equipped. Ate at Bistro Leon which was close by on the trading estate. The bistro was linked to a Kyriad hotel which would have been a more suitable choice.

I don"t feel really welcome in this hotel, you have to get a code and directly go to your room... no more information. the room was clean but very simple. I recommand this hotel only if you stay 1 night not more..

Stopped here on our journey from north west England to southern Spain. This ibis has had quite a recent update and was of a very high standard for their ‘budget’ brand. Similar to all the layouts of these hotels, it’s a double bed with one single bunk above. Bed was clean and comfy (quite hard but I like that!), bathroom was spotless and shower had plenty of hot water. Secure parking and friendly reception. Location is great, supermarket across the road and 24hr petrol station. Plenty of restaurants around hotel too although mostly chains. Couldn’t ask for more!

Small hôtel located in an industrial area, 5 minutes driving to the city center of Lisieux, the staff is nice and helpful, with clean room and comfy beds, this hotel is a good deal. The breakfast buffet is ok with good viennoiseries ;)

Used 3 other Ibis Budget on this trip. This hotel was the worst, by far. Not happy with the bed, the mattress was no longer firm, like everywhere else. But what was really annoying, was that you were unable to pre book breakfast when booking online, and then were asked to pay more than the usual online rate found elsewhere. Manager point blank refused to negotiate a price for 4 breakfasts (2 adult, 2 children), so we took our €20 and spent them at McDonalds right across the road.
