イースターホリデーを使った家族旅行でオーストラリアの首都・キャンベラを訪れ、ibis Budget Canberraを3泊4日で利用しました。 ibis Budget Canberraはキャンベラ市内中心部から約7km離れたWatson地区にあるアコーホテルズ(Accor Hotels)系列のバジェットホテルです。 宿泊当日はケアンズを昼過ぎに出発し、メルボルン経由でキャンベラに到着したのでホテルへのチェックインは午後8時15分ごろになりました。宿泊予約と宿泊料金決済はあらかじめ某ホテル予約サイトから行ったので、宿泊者名簿に記入して身分証明書とクレジットカードを提示するだけでスムースにチェックインできました。キャンベラ空港でレンタカーを借りたので、ホテル敷地内にある駐車場を滞在中無料で利用できたのが嬉しかったです。 今回利用した客室タイプは2 Single Beds and 1 Single bedです。ベッドは2段式で上段はシングルベッド、下段にはシングルベッド2台が配置されていました。客室は12m2とあまり広くはないものの、3人での利用でもまったく窮屈さを感じませんでした。室内奥のデスク周りにはテレビと小型冷蔵庫が設置されています。また客室の洗面台はトイレ・シャワールームの外に設置されているので、複数人で宿泊するのにも便利です。 客室には無料のコーヒー・紅茶が用意されています。バスアメニティはシャワーブースと洗面台にシャンプー・ボディウォッシュ・ハンドウォッシュが1つにまとまったものが備え付けられているのみで、歯ブラシやカミソリは提供されていません。 館内ではWi-Fiが無料で利用できますが、時間帯によっては通信速度が低下したり、接続が切断されることがありました。 フロントデスク横のダイニングエリアでは朝7時30分から10時まで、トースティ又はコンチネンタルブレックファストの朝食が提供されます。朝食の予約は必要なく、料金は利用時にフロントデスクにて精算します。1人$10のビュッフェ式コンチネンタルブレックファストにはパン・シリアル、ハム、ヨーグルト、フルーツカクテル、牛乳・ジュースが含まれますが、コーヒー・紅茶などの温かい飲み物は別に料金が必要です。 ホテルの隣にはガソリンスタンド併設のコンビニエンスストアがありますが、周辺にカフェやレストランなどは少ないので、食事やショッピングは市内で済ませることをお勧めします。またホテルが立地するWatson地区から市内へは交通が不便なので、主に公共交通機関を利用して観光する場合は市内中心部のホテルへ滞在されるのも良いでしょう。

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Located in the outskirts of Canberra. The room was basic. Not clean though . There were rogue hairs in the bathroom and stains on the wall. The inner staircase needs a good clean too. The bed was comfy though.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I never thought I would write a review, I have never done it before, but this one is worth my time spending. It was the most horrific stay and I wish no-one goes through such traumatic experience. We booked for 5 nights, stayed the first night at my partners insistence. After 13 hours of driving my partner was very tired and i too. We booked a Queen bed accommodation and were offered initially a king single bed that was best suited for people with disability, so we requested another one and was given a double bed with a bunk bed on top, we accepted there because we were told that the room that we booked was given to someone else. All their rooms are unclean, no chairs to sit on, a very dirty plastic stool, nothing was clean, there was a bug in the toilet, shower dirty, all rooms are very, very small, photos are deceiving. So, no ethics, no satisfactory customer service just right there. At time of going to bed I tried to get in bed but I did not notice the wooden bunk bed right in front of me and hit my head so hard that I nearly passed out. My forehead was very swollen and badly bruised! It was very late and when I went out to the Office which was just outside the room, there was no-one but most importantly there was no first aid kit or an emergency phone. The next day it was a Sunday and there was no Pharmacies opened. I understand that it's a budget hotel and my partner wanted to stay closer to the convention he was going to; but there is total negligence, lack of duty of care, poor customer service, unclean, the list is endless. The next day we asked for our refund because we were not going to stay one more night there, unfortunately it was prepaid and we had to get refunded; one of the remaining 4 days was refunded, the General Manager said that he organised 2 of them and to contact another booking agency for one of the days but we never got any refund, I did contact Expedia which he said has organised the refund for us but Expedia had no knowledge of such bookings, also the third agency, Webbed, had no record of the booking. I went through traumatic days also trying to contact all those agencies. I tried to call the hotel to explain my situation but never got an answer. I am still unwell with the big bruise on my head and a sore eye after almost a month now. IT'S A HEALTH HAZARD! Keep away from them. They are lucky I give them 1, this hotel deserves nothing.

Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir die Information, dass unser Zimmer nur jeden 2. Tag gereinigt würde. Dies stand nirgendwo in meiner Hotelreservierungsbestätigung!!!!!!!!!! Jeden 2. Tag musste wir also um neue Handtücher an der Rezeption bitten. Das Zimmer wurde nur miserabel gereinigt. Am Boden lagen Papierschnipsel vom 2. bis zu letzten Tag. Die Becher für Tee und Kaffee wurden nicht gereinigt. Die Sanitärzelle hat mehrere schwarze Stellen. Am Boden lagen alte schwarze Haare in der Sanitärzelle und unter dem Waschbecken. Die Klimaanlage quillt vor Dreck aus den Ritzen über. Wir haben diese somit nicht benutzt. Innerhalb der 14 Tage erhielten wir nur einmal frische Bettwäsche, sonst wurde nur die alte Bettwäsche oben glatt gezogen. Der Fußboden war klebrig dreckig, ob dieser überhaupt einmal gewischt wurde kann ich nicht sagen. Ich habe für diese genannten Dinge eine Fotodokumentation vorgenommen. Bei Bedarf kann ich diese Ihnen zusenden. Eine Hotelunterkunft der accorgruppe in diesem Zustand habe ich bisher nicht erlebt. MfG G., Accor Mitglied

While we do service the rooms every second day, we should also be changing the linen every three days - the only time that we will not change the sheets is if there are belongings on the bed as our housekeeping team has strict instructions not to move guest's belongings. I had not been aware of your concerns during your stay and apologise that we did not have the opportunity to rectify this for you. Avoid. Tiny room in the middle of nowhere which is not suited for Business stays. Maybe good for a quick and cheap overnight but that would be it. Was woken on several nights, one in particular at 1am by a lady who rattled the crap out of the already loose door lock. Played hunt the PowerPoint and enjoy the rock and roll music from the tiny fridge. I was surprised to see people living in the carpark in rooftop tents. Maybe they were sharing toilet facilities.
