The best stay here since 2017

Our family of three is booking Novotel Suites Cannes since 2017 and it was by far the best 4 nights stay so far. It is practical hotel which offers you everything you need plus loads of space. You have microwave, mini fridge, seperate bathtub and walk in shower, quality Rituals toiletries. We booked two superior suites, one of them has been upgraded to executive suite for which we were grateful. Executive one was larger, had bathrobes/ slippers and minibar and snacks replenished daily. Executive suites are by the main road which is noisy but ours had double windows which completely eliminated the noise. Reception was happy to extend our stay until 1 pm as I am gold Accor member. I also got complimentary glass of wine. Housekeeping is good, wifi was strong as I worked one of the days. It is easy 15-20 min walk everywhere in Cannes centre or beaches. Until next year!

Comfortable room renovated to a suite. Comfortable room and bed. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and great location close to downtown Cannes. Would definitely stay again. Laundry only 300 metres away with restaurants and market shops close at hand

This horrible hotel is old and certainly not in line with other Novotel properties, the breakfast is a disgrace, the elevator takes ages, the shower changes constantly between hot and cold, the old corridors with the carpets from the 60's are spooky and the waiting times are everywhere very high because there is almost no staff. Mobile phones do not work in the room, there is no coverage indoors, just a slow wifi. The front office manager has been very guest oriented and friendly but he is the big exception.

This is 100% not a 4 star hotel. The property in such a bad condition and their room are filthy. There was nose boogers on the curtains, stains on the sink, dirty floor and more. I asked the house keeping team several times to fix this issue and everytime they said that they cannot. They were very rude.

This hotel was ok. The staff were really sour and were not friendly at all. There was one member of staff at the breakfast who was someway nice but the rest of the staff we came across were sour, didn't greet us when we came into the reception etc. For the price, the hotel was fine, in line with the price of hotels in Cannes but if this was somewhere else and I paid this price, I would expect more from the hotel. The toiletries in the bathroom were poor. Lucky I brought my own shampoo and had to buy soap over there because the products were so bad. The bed quality was shocking. The mattress was really thin and there was a plastic matress protector that kept coming off every single night. The air conditioning was a joke. It was 30 plus degrees every night and not once did I ever feel cool. While all these things didn't force me to leave the hotel stay prematurely, I will not be returning to this hotel when I go to Cannes next.
