Comfortable beds; very friendly staff; great breakfast.

This is a very friendly, comfortable hotel. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are extremely helpful and the car park is free. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Great parking, very clean, bedroom reasonable size with nice shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable so had 2 good nights sleep. The breakfast really was excellent offering the usual ham cheese and breads as well as croissants and brioche, but also eggs which you boiled yourself, all made for a great start to the day. There was a salon area where you could just sit and chat or watch a movie. The only slight disappointment was with our evening meal. My partner asked for rumpsteak and I had tilapia fillet. The steak was unfortunately cold when it arrived even though the sweet potato fries and veg were piping hot and delicious. My tilapia was delicious around the edges but the middle of the fish was not cooked through, but again the vegetables it was served with were piping hot and delicious. It hasn’t put us off eating there again, everyone has bad days or equipment issues. We would definitely stay here again, it is good value for money.

We are really happy to read that you enjoyed your stay and particularly appreciated the buffet breakfast we serve; we like to offer a variety of products in the morning and enjoy pleasing all the tastes of our customers. Concerning the dinner you did not enjoy as much; we are deeply sorry it was not as enjoyable as you would have liked it to be. Indeed, on Fridays, we tend not to have all the items of our menu since the restaurant closes all weekend. The fish you had chosen was a tataki so it was not meant to be fully cooked explaining why it was raw in the center part but concerning the steak we sincerely apologize and we'll do our best so that it doesn't happen again. A good stay here for the budget Room was fine but a bit hot - we were on the ground floor so not comfortable leaving windows open - could do with air con really. While the hotel is near 2 roads they are pretty quiet at night as its mainly business area but some noise in the morning - but not too bad. We had some noise from the room above as they have no carpets on the floor so no sound stopping for people with noisey shoes. Breakfast was good and self serve - Brittany apple cake is recommended. No tea and coffee in rooms but a kettle and a machine at the front desk - bit innefficient boiling the whole kettle each time you needed a drink and had difficulty getting cold milk for tea on some occassions. It is out of town and so you need a car if you want to get to town. You can walk up the hill to the shops and round to the 2 very large supermarkets - 1 in each direction both with daytime food outlets. The hotel does NOT do food on the evening at the weekend but does in the week - it was pretty quiet on saturday and Sunday for us. Only 1 tv channel in English just CNN Free wifi though Also a large games room / lounge which is great to sit in and drink your cofee and play cards Overall a good hotel if you have a car.

This hotel is 2km from the centre of Quimper, which has it's benefits if you are driving, as the hotel offers good complementary parking. The hotel is convenient for trips to Concarneau and other tourist locations. The staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable.

A bit too far out of town

Perhaps we got there on a bad day for the staff, because there seemed to be some tension at the front desk which made us somewhat uncomfortable. Not sure how they have three stars without having an elevator and with having the restaurant closed at weekends. Breakfast was good, but one morning there was only one staff member taking care of restocking the breakfast at the same time as doing guest checkout, which made for an inefficient operation. The illustration is a little misleading, since the hotel sits between two busy roads and can be quite noisy. Next time we will stay in Quimper itself.
