Stayed here for 3 nites on my own for a short break in lovely Lublin. Hotel is large clean with a generally helpful polite staff.The bedrooms are spacious , I booked a superior room with breakfast and this was satisfactory and comfortable. What wasn’ t satisfactory was the shower cubicle which was tiny and the hand held shower head. I have stayed in many Mercure hotels in Poland and all have had step in “ rainbow showers” The fact that Mercure Lublin hasn’t , does it a significant disservice. Breakfasts were modest and again not up to Mercure standard, particularly the limited choice and the scrambled eggs which were invariably Luke warm and not replenished regularly. There is no designated bar area so if you wish to have a quiet drink you have to sit in the dining room. They should have a small designated bar area with comfortable seating. Location is good, 20 minute brisk walk into Old Town. Third visit to this hotel and it needs a freshening up. Would I stay here again? Probably yes but they really need to sort out the showers first.

This is a very good hotel with an outstanding customer service, close to he city centre and across one of the largest city parks, very handy if you are into parkrun. All staff speak English and are very polite and courteous. The hotel is clean throughout; breakfast is plentiful and if anything is missing, they soon come and replace it. Suggested improvements: 1. The room description on the hotel's website does not reflect what is actually in the room. The website mentions dressing gowns and mini bar in the standard room but both are absent. When asked about this, the receptionist informed me that the room description on their site does not necessarily refer to the particular room type - this is very confusing and possibly a misrepresentation in law as you do not get what you think you are paying for. 2. The hotel restaurant shuts at 2200 on Saturday. We returned from the cinema just before 10 pm and wanted dinner but were told that this was too late; it was 21:55 and we could not get any food or drink. 3. Alcoholic drinks in the hotel bar are very limited, unless you like wine. They serve 4 kinds of beer but two are Perla, so if you do not like Perla, there isn't much to choose from; no cocktails are offered, which is a shame. Wine was expensive. 4. Air con is not individually controlled. When we arrived the weather was very cold, it snowed twice at night, yet the air con could only be set on cold air. When asked at the reception, they changed the setting to heating but then, a few days later it got hot and we could not turn the air con to cold air, hence, in short, the air con is centrally controlled by the staff at the main reception, all you can do it to slightly increase or decrease the temperate in your room, but you cannot change the air con setting from cold to hot and vice versa. Despite all this, I would stay in this hotel again as it's centrally located, a nice walk to the Old Town and handy for jogging/running. Staff are very helpful and ensure your stay at the hotel is the best it can be.

Great location and a super smart, modern hotel. Great, quiet nights sleep in a comfy bed. Varied breakfast. Room had all the mod cons needed and expected. Very efficient check in. Only stayed one night but very happy to recommend for visits to Lublin.

Hotel is one thing, but service is what counts

This hotel is a gem and not because of anything extraordinary or amazing, but simply by their staff. I have stayed there for a few years in the row and am always impressed by the staff there. Whether you want anything from the front desk, restaurant / breakfast staff assistance or just chat amicably with a management team member always visible in the facility. Having being known for critical reviews at other facilities (as I am also a Hilton and Marriott club member) I am simply impressed by this place. Thank you all, keep raising above the fold and hopefully get recognized for your efforts. I have chosen this place to quietly celebrate my birthday and absolutely loved all of my experience even though the hotel staff new nothing of this.

I stayed at a suite which is very nice, spacious, modern and decorated room. Very friendly and smiling staff. Good location. Good breakfast with decent options. SPA services are avilable, I didn't have time to evaluate. The elevators are small relatively.
