was a guest with my wife at this property from February 19 to 21, 2025 for a business/vacation trip. Given that both the hall and the WINESTONE restaurant/bistro as well as the room are very well cared for and with a welcoming and kindness of the affable and reassuring staff it feels like being at a friend's house. But I would like to point out a small event that made this stay unforgettable for us. I'll tell you the story, the first evening as I was about to go to bed I hit the protective glass of the courtesy lamp with my arm which probably not being well fixed fell and broke. The following morning having difficulty with any foreign language and therefore for fear of not expressing myself well with the reception staff I preferred to write an email to the management from my room using the translator. The response was repeated apologies for any inconvenience I would have endured and to compensate for the inconvenience we were offered a dinner in the hotel bistro, the WINESTONE, which we had already tried on the day of our arrival with satisfaction. The dinner offered was on the entire menu and we could have ordered more dishes, which obviously we did not do. What can I say Mercure Centrum Warsaw you will always be in our hearts and we will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends as well as returning ourselves as soon as the opportunity arises

The room was absolutely clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable with hard mattress which is my preference. The check in and out was so simple and quick and the staff was very helpful and kind. I loved the breakfast as it has a wide range of selection of hot and cold dishes, pastries, veggies, salads, juices. The location is more than perfect... just a few steps from Warszawa Centralna railway station and the stop of the airport bus as well. There is a huge mall with lot of shops for a few steps from the property, exactly the opposite site of the building. The Culture Palace is also a one minute walk and you can reach the old town with a 12 - 15 minutes walk.

This is NOT a 4-star hotel

My room was on the 3rd floor. Between the lift and my room, the carpet was stained everywhere. And worse, there's a section of carpet missing in the middle of the hall. I'm attaching a picture. In my room, one of the chairs was broken (see picture). The towels were exceedingly thin (see picture). I've had napkins that were thicker. The room was clean, but that's the best I can say. As soon as I got in, the heat hit me and the air felt dry. I turned off the raidator and opened the window -- and had to leave it open all night. Therefore, I heard the noise from outside. I did NOT get a good sleep. In addition, the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was hard. Don't hope to charge your devices as you sleep because there are no sockets beside the bed. There are sockets hidden WITHIN the headboard (only visible when you move the pillows away; see pictures). What an absolutely ridiculous place to put them. Well, I say "sockets", one of them was blocked. The only working socket was on the side of the bed without a bedside cabinet. Yes, a bed with only one beside cabinet. I'm not happy about having a charging phone lying on the bed overnight, with the potential to overheat, so I put it on top of the menu on the bed. Having spent the whole day in airports and on aeroplanes, I was desperate for a drink of water. There was none in the room. I looked in the minibar, but it was empty and switched off. In Polish hotels there are usually glass bottles of mineral water on the desk. Not here. There was an empty carafe with a message that you could buy the carafe, just ask at reception. There was no hint about where you could actually get the water from, though. Sorry, but I'm not going to drink hotel tap water. There was a vending machine on the ground floor. It had Coke and Pepsi, energy drinks, and some snacks. No bottled water. On a positive note, the staff were lovely. The people I interacted with at reception were very friendly, and the staff in the restaurant were very professional. It's just a shame that they have to work in this hotel. I will not be back.

Hotel itself is ok, good location, but classic room is not even for a 2 star hotel. Old , basic, a Big ruin... Breakfast not as good as any other mercure hotels. Lack of bacon, no omelet to order.... Do not recommend It. Not worth to pay such a high cost.
