Mercure Варшава Гранд 4 звезды

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Mercure Warszawa Grand hotel during my visit to the beautiful city of Warsaw. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant, and I feel compelled to share my honest recension. Upon arriving at the hotel, I encountered an unfortunate incident outside its entrance. I was unexpectedly assaulted by hooligans, which left me shaken and distressed. It's important to note that this incident was not directly related to the hotel, but it did take place near its vicinity. I believe it is crucial for the hotel to prioritize the safety and security of its guests, especially in areas where such incidents are known to occur. Moving beyond the unfortunate incident, my disappointment continued upon entering the hotel. I was immediately greeted by a strong, unpleasant odor that resembled that of a stable. This smell persisted throughout my stay, making it difficult to enjoy the ambiance of the hotel and relax in my room. The presence of such an odor indicates a lack of cleanliness or proper maintenance, which is a significant drawback for any establishment claiming to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. While I understand that individual experiences can vary, I must express my dissatisfaction with the overall condition of the hotel. Apart from the incident and the unpleasant smell, I found the facilities to be lackluster. The room I stayed in appeared outdated, with worn-out furniture and tired decor. Additionally, the level of cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable stains on the carpets and a general lack of attention to detail. The hotel staff, while polite, seemed indifferent to my concerns and did not take any proactive measures to address the issues I raised. This lack of responsiveness added to my disappointment and left me feeling undervalued as a guest. On a positive note, the location of the Mercure Warszawa Grand is convenient, with easy access to various attractions and the city center. However, this single redeeming factor was overshadowed by the negative aspects of my stay. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Mercure Warszawa Grand hotel based on my personal experience. The unfortunate incident outside the hotel, combined with the pervasive unpleasant smell and lackluster facilities, significantly detracted from my overall enjoyment and comfort during my visit to Warsaw. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes appropriate steps to improve the safety, cleanliness, and overall quality of the hotel to provide a better experience for future guests.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived at 3pm however one room was not ready straight away, they did kindly give us a free drink at the bar which was nice. Location was good, a little walk from the train station and sites however cheap Uber and taxi was perfect to explore. Near to some lovely eating places. Room was really nice, comfortable, quiet, slept very well. Shower was strong and lovely shower gel. Breakfast was really nice. A very good selection of foods, we especially enjoyed the fresh juicer! We enjoyed the various dishes. Was a gym and sauna etc which looked nice. Would highly recommend and stay again especially if the price is right. We really enjoyed our stay. Lobby was lovely to relax in if needing and the bar was nice.

Excellent downtown Warsaw location, professional and courteous service throughout. My wife and I stayed 3 weeks here. In particular, the breakfast staff were wonderful, and we want to mention specially Agate, Marina and Michal. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! It is more than we can expect from most hotels.

I would say this is a 3 star by European standard. Room and deco are outdated, towels are hard and old. Old capers, old hardwood floor. Not impressed at all. The location is far away from old town like 30min, 20min walk to the royal way. 15 min walk to culture and science center.
