Hotel is very tired and needs refurbishment. Too far from the city centre. No staff easily available at the bar

Weird location, not the best

First it’s located in a weird part of Torino, dark at night and 20 min away from downtown by tram 4, where you find on the next street old camper vans lined up of people living in them. The wifi in our room on the 8th floor did not work. We told the front desk twice, nothing was done. We also purposely told the front desk not to clean our room, not to come inside (front desk said no problem, we don’t clean (covid) on second day, we won’t come in…well they came in our room, made the bed and changed the towels

Ageing hotel well priced

We had excellent and really welcoming check-in experience. The hotel is ageing and does not feel right and definitely not what I would expect from Novotel range. The bed was comfortable, however the air-conditioning was switched off and it was unbearably hot in the hotel. We had the following problems over 4 night stay: the towels were twice either extremely dirty or completely torn (unacceptable for hotel management not to explain to staff what is expected); there was a cigarette smell in our bathroom (room 904); the remotes were clumsy and dirty; the fridge door was not working; the water stopper missing in sink; there were no tissues (the box was empty); the carpet was with dust flakes on our arrival. The breakfast was adjusted to Covid-19, however the scrambled eggs and bacon (ham) were horrible; the fruit salad was chunky pieces with pineapple almost rotten; the cappuccino tasted really strange; the dinner was like industrial cafeteria (but food was good); dinner service slow (with good intent). The location - did not bother us too much as we had a car and hotel has nice parking facilities - you do have to pass people selling their bodies just on approach to the hotel.

The room was infested by flying insects. Bathroom had a second layer of flooring that has been permeated by water from the bath-tub/shower.

Had to change room as toilet was completely broken. Second room with almost no wi-fi connection and clogged shower. Asked reception twice to take action and nothing was done until the 3rd time that I was really angry. I waited half hour to ask for something to drink at the bar at midday and the receptionist have to come and prepare our aperitives while people waiting at the reception for check in. They are not even able to water their little vegetable plot that is drying out. Its a shame, nice hotel but not well managed.

Great location. The staff was helpful but not enough of them for such a huge hôtel. It urgently needs refurbishing as the carnets are tired, the towels too. The tissus dispenser had not been refilled in our room. The plastic bathtub and shower was damages and not so clean (we found hair...). The black-out certains are plastic and there were suspect stairs on the bedroom carpet. One feet of the chair was missing. Not what you'd expect from à 4 star... The bar is too small & badly located. The buffet dinner didn’t look appetizing. Let's not talk about the size of the swimming pool, which is tiny & where you cannot swimming as such. Hotel has Great potential though so needs to be redesigned.

We liked the hotel, the rooms, bedsand the staff were pleasant. We liked the location on the outskirts, so easily accessible from the motorways. We bought all day or 2-day tickets and travelled into town and around the city by tram. Easier than driving and good value. The breakfast would have been fine except that it takes far too long to serve and helpings range from enormous to minimal. What about a buffet to speed things up?

My family was staying in Turin only for one day and we selected Novotel due to our good past experience with Accor Hotels. Things we didn't like: 1) Breakfast had a long 1 hour queue due to inability to pick the food ourselves. Hotel staff was doing this for you. 2) Room #410 had a dirty wall near the bed. We wouldn't stay in Accor Hotels any more during pandemic time.

I think overall it was a good stay, I don't really have anything major to complain. However, I do think that the hotel is due for renovation. Our room also had a slight smell but we opened the window overnight and it's gone. WiFi also had some connection issue but the receptionist gave us a coupon and no problem ever since.

Excellent location - the main road 100m away becomes the A4 200m in one direction, making the hotel very easy to get to, and the other way is the main road from the north to the centre, with frequent trams. Rooms are clean and sizeable, and the staff are competent and helpful. Our A/C didn't work when we arrived (and it was 37C, during the heatwave) but when we got back from visiting the centre it was fixed and the room was cool. The bed was excellent. Not so good points were the total lack of any English channels on the TV (most Ibis hotels have BBC News & Nat Geo), the mediocre breakfast, and the bathroom looking tired (chips out of the enamel etc). But we still regarded it as a good choice.

Friendly staff, but the rooms - buiding requires a full renovation. This was a second time having a room, which climate control doesn't work at all and the only way of cooling down the room was to sleep window open. Downside of traffic noice and plenty of small flies inside.

The food is poor quality with a limited menu option and not always served what you ordered. Drink prices are high with little selection. The room was okay, clean and bed comfortable, BUT the bathroom was terrible. Plastic, cheap and the sealant around the bath looked as though a child had installed! a bit of a let down considering the website photo's and will look for another hotel next time. Will only stay again if no rooms available elsewhere - One massive plus, was the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed with my family in the Novotel Torino and the bad luck was that at the same time they accommodated Napoli football team. This means that you are automatically becoming a second cat guest.The breakfast was served in the bar as the proper breakfast area was closed for Napoli FC. What remained for regular guests - no cereals, no toasts, a little piece of bread some plate with ham and luckily coffee machine. Shame for the network what I usually chose because of a very good breakfast.
