Dear Mr F., Thank you very much for your visit and for taking the time to review your stay at Novotel München City. First of all, I'd like to point out that we do, in fact, have air conditioning. But we regret that your experience with the room temperature did not meet your expectations — and we would like to formally apologize for this. Please allow me to note that our air conditioning only allows for a certain range of individual adjustments. In general, our system is set to a maximum difference of 7°C from the outside temperature (DIN EN 16798), in accordance with the recommendations of the German Federal Environment Agency, to avoid negative effects on our guests’ health. Unfortunately, when outside temperatures are unusually high, the system reaches its limits. In such cases, we are pleased to provide our guests with an additional fan.
