Dear Ms R., I am sorry that you were unable to have a restful night, and I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused. Please allow me to explain that our air conditioning only allows for a certain range of individual adjustments. In general, our system is set to a maximum difference of 7°C from the outside temperature (DIN EN 16798), in accordance with the recommendations of the German Federal Environment Agency, to avoid negative effects on our guests’ health. Unfortunately, when outside temperatures are unusually high, the system reaches its limits. In such cases, we are pleased to provide our guests with an additional fan. It was a pleasure to have you as our guest and I would like to thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Novotel München City. We would be honored to welcome you again here in Munich.
