The staff were professional and all responded to our questions and requests quickly. The furniture was very comfortable! I appreciated having a variety of pillows and a high quality mattress. The rooms were of medium size, neither small nor large. It was very nice to have a window that opened (although the weather was cold). The hotel is quite nondescript but very comfortable - I wouldn't recommend it as "unique" or "beautiful" but it is certainly very comfortable, pleasant, and most importantly, it was extremely clean. The breakfast was varied and quite good - better than average for a hotel breakfast. The hotel's gym is very small and has very limited equipment, so if that is important to you, look at the hotel's website to see the photos and check if it has what you need. The walk to the metro was about 8 minutes but we walked to most destinations as this was in a very good location for sightseeing, music, food, etc. It was also very easy to get a taxi. There are nice coffee shops within walking distance - we especially liked Wall Coffee. I would choose here again for a comfortable stay, with a high standard of quality (furniture and breakfast) and especially for the cleanliness. It wasn't exciting but it was very dependable, typical for a well-managed Novotel.

The hotel was in a perfect location just mins from Spittelmarkt tube station and a short walk to Alexanderplatz. Rooms were very clean and warm which was definitely appreciated in temp of -6 🥶 Breakfast was good if not slightly chaotic! Only downside was upon check-in on Xmas Eve the young lady who checked us in didn't come across as particularly welcoming at all. She proceeded to tell us that the bar and restaurant would be closed on both Xmas Day & Boxing Day (which it appears to be the norm) we felt it would have been nice to have been made aware of this beforehand. Then when I asked her will there be places nearby for us to eat & drink however, she very negatively said' most places will not be open as it's Xmas!' On the plus said one member of the reception team Jennifer stood out as being very helpful.

We visited on Devember 2025. The room was clean and hot. The hotel is in city center and close to metro and bus station. The breakfast was good. Just one of the elevators was out of order and it can be ceowded on rush hours. The hotel is close to chriatmas markets and you can go on foot also .

OK but not great wont return

The breakfast was really great, very diverse and good. the location was ok for tourists. next time i will take something in KDAM or TOR its a bit o a walk to the U, one o them was shut down. easy parking and a play place for little kids. clean. Hotel surprised my daughter on her birthday with cookies and a coke in the room. Thank you to the head housekeeping Jana for creatively fixing our problem. On the down side the rooms are small, especially for a family. the pull out couch is not full size in the length, it folds once out so for bigger kids/teens this is not great. my daughters feet were hanging off (too tall.) I had to really push and ask more than 4 times for helping with a solution which is too much. being busy isn't an excuse not to help.

The location of the hotel was great (I really think it is underated as to how well it is situated) and it was easy to find, especially as the roads in the centre of Berlin seem to be under construction. We took advantage of the hotel parking, which might seem expense at €20 per night, but there was not any other parking nearby. It was secure with an elevator directly to the reception area. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and large pull out couch for our daughter to sleep on. We did enjoy a drink at the bar, the cocktails were reasonably priced. We didn't eat at the restaurant. In the lobby area there was a kids area, some books, colouring materials and some toys, possibly suited to younger children. The staff were helpful and could speak English. They also had a list prepared of places they could recomend to eat, You couldn't leave the window open as the road outside was noisy, and occasionally you would here other doors banging. If you are a light sleeper make sure to rest a room away from the stairwell.
