Good location, parking lot in front, though not easy to find the entrance. Good connection to Center by metro (don't drive in the city). Being built atop a commercial center one has easy access to a supermarket, shops and services.

i stayed here for two nights due to business and was satified as usual from ibis. room was clean, bed was ok and breakfast was nice. they had even portoguse egg tart for breakfast which i enjoyed very much.

Difficult to find my sat nav is still going round in circles.! but eventually well worth the effort. Plenty of reasonably secure parking and a clean comfortable hotel room with a comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked well as we were there in a hot spell and could not have slept without it. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and freshly squeezed oranges from the electric gadget on the breakfast bar. The hotel is on the top floor of a shopping centre adjacent to a hospital and access to the shopping centre is from a lift in the hotel. The top floor in the shopping centre is full of reasonably priced restaurants with plenty of choice for all tastes. I purposely chose this hotel as it was out of the centre with free parking and excellent transport links into the Centre where driving/parking would be an absolute nightmare. The metro is only eighty yards from the Hotel and is 3 euros for a full day pass. I would certainly stop there next time I visit Porto

We had been charged twice (even that rooms were paid in advance) Was not possible to make the receptionist to understand the situation Bad Quality Breakfast Bad Quality Rooms Bad smell in the room and the corridor

Very good option of lodging in the city of Porto. Good service, comfort, great location. The only caveat was the room temperature was set to 25 ° C, leaving the room warm even when turned off at night.

Ibis Porto Sao Joao is located inside a maket center, what makes it difficult to find, specially when you arrives out of opening hours. The rest is absolutely fine, nice welcome, 24h service, easy acces by metro, good location when you go to he university and cleanliness

I am very happy to stay here and I will definitely stay here again in the future if I come to Porto again. The transportation is also very convenient. I recommend this hotel to everyone who will visit Porto.

Practically on the metro station. Comfortable bed, room ibis standard. Quiet location. Hotel is placed INSIDE shopping center, so when you come after 22h you need to come in through garage, which no one mentioned to us. But that is good because you have several options for breakfast including McDonald's and you have supermarket that works until 22h. Nice parking if you come by car.

The personnel of the hotel is qualified. Whenever I referred to the people at the reception desk, they satisfied my requests.The location of the hotel is at easy reach to a metro stop. If I happen to be at Porto some other time, I will inevitably stop at IBIS.

Clean room with large bathroom. Staff is very friendly, the breakfast had a lot of variety and the subway line to downtown is a two minute walk away. The hotel is located on top of a shopping mall that has a grocery store. Would stay here again!

Located near a metro station ( I.P.O. yellow line) and a shopping center Ibis Porto São João will be always a excelent choice for travallers without car. But if you have or rent one is also easy to find the hotel and the parking is free. God service and gently people. Accor quality speaking portuguese...

Perfect location and delicious Portuguese breakfast. Comfortable bed,great opportunity to get to know the city using public transport. Helpful and friendly staff. I really felt at home,away from home.

Easy to reach (subway is very near), clean, calm, a modern looking decorated room and, above all, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! When I booked the room online, I said I also wanted breakfast. Afterwards I changed my mind about breakfast but it was ok anyway, I wasn't charged for it.
