Very dated hotel not clean beds uncomfortable no coffee or tea facilities in room shower was dirty tiles fallen off walls. Breakfast was very basic Only good thing I would say is staff most helpful . And only 20min walk to the old town ………………..

Just returned after a 4 night break, the hotel is in a perfect location to get to everywhere. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Room had tea and coffee making facilities and well stocked. Beds very comfortable and extra pillow and blanket in wardrobe. Shower gel and shampoo provided in shower, clean towels everyday. Only negative was heating/ac on constantly and had to tell them to turndown as affected my chest which they did as heating controlled by hotel. Breakfast had a choice for everyone continental and cooked. If I returned to Prague I'd probably stay here again.

Stayed in Ibis Wenceslas Square with friends for a weekend break. Location is a short walk from (but some distance away from) Wenceslas Square, hotel is as you would expect for an Ibis, only complaint about the room was limited hanging and no storage, however we lived out of suitcases for the weekend. Breakfast was a real highlight, excellent value as it was included in our room rate - great hot and cold choice, bizarrely coffee machines have been set to a touch over half a cup, but if you try to top up with another half they overflowed! Staff were helpful, pillows on our bed when we checked in were awful (flat, no support), reception arranged for additional to be sent to our room, but we had to ask as no additional in the room (I guess this is due to the budget nature of this hotel). Would I stay here again? Yes. No frills and if booked far enough ahead, relatively cheap (especially when factoring in breakfast).

October 24 - building works in hotel

As of October 2024, the hotel is undergoing significant renovation. I came out of the lift on the third floor to see a building site on one wing of the hotel. There was no partition between the works and the in-use area - I did see dust working its way down the corridor to the lift area. Works started promptly at 8am with drilling and was heard throughout the day. I would not have been able to work in my room, or sleep during the day with the noise. At one point it was so loud I had to cover my ears as I was leaving! Otherwise the hotel is lovely. At night, it was one of the quietest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast is also very good. I’d recommend this hotel as long as you don’t intend to be in your room during the day. I’d also ask the hotel to put something on their website to indicate significant works are ongoing (not on there as of 13/10/24) and nothing in my confirmation/information emails.
