Bloody best Bloody Mary EVER! At Artemis bar the BM was awesome, one of the best I have ever had! Also good selection of delicious wines. And this was only our first night of two here!

Our flight home got changed at the last minute and we found ourselves needing to find a hotel at or near the Athens airport. My husband found this one. It was great for us since we had a long day of travelling and for its being right across the street from the airport. We just walked across the street. The room was large, clean and very quiet. The bed was very comfy. We didn't hear any airplane noise. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional. We ate dinner at the casual restaurant on the main floor and our meals were good. The only negative was the metal backed chairs were uncomfortable. For dessert, we decided to walk back into the airport and get gelato. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of nice choices.

A great option for those who are done sightseeing and need to be close to the airport. We stayed here after our vacation for proximity to the airport. The hotel was clean, it had a decent workout room and a great pool for doing laps. The staff was kind and accommodating. Don't look for any extras, the food is overpriced (although it's a quick walk across the street to the airport where the food is less expensive). If you are not finished with sightseeing in Athens, the hotel is not a great option as it is far away from any sites of interest.

Overpriced hotel

I stayed at this airport hotel recently and found it incredibly overpriced for the quality offered. My main disappointment was the lack of flexibility from the staff regarding gym opening times. I had an early flight and requested to use the gym just one hour before its official opening, but my request was refused without any effort to accommodate. For an airport hotel charging premium rates, I expected much better service and understanding of travel schedules. Unfortunately, this rigid policy and lack of concern for guests’ needs made my stay frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who value good service or need to maintain their fitness routine before a flight.

We stayed at the AVA hotel near the Acropolis which was fantastic but like many large cities, the airport is quite a distance from the center of the city. We are always worried about traffic causing unnecessary high blood pressure so we like to stay at hotels as closely attached to the airport as possible especially when we have an early flight. Better to have the luggage stored at the central hotel to get later and then sleep the night before at the airport hotel. Yes this is not a cheap hotel but unlike many other airport hotels we have stayed at, this one was worth cost. The room was very nice. Large and comfortable. AC worked well as did the WiFi. Separate toilet and shower which is always interesting. Very quiet. Did not hear a single plane taking off. Staff was friendly and abundant. There is an on-site restaurant which we did not utilize. We have a weakness for Pret Manger and found one after taking a test run to where we had to check in. Getting to the terminal does require leaving the hotel and going outside. It is not directly connected. There is an escalator that takes you to the departure level that is very close and simple. One suggestion is to give yourself more time than you think going to customs control. There was a long line at 6 am and yet only one person was there. Many were about to miss their flight so you could smell some panic in the air. Another person finally showed up which helped but he must have taken 10 minutes just to get set up. Security is just past customs and was quick. It wasn’t as bad as Brussels but it seems strange to have such limited staff with 75+ people in line. Oh well. That’s why controlling your own schedule with an airport hotel is so beneficial. Would stay here again. Enjoy.
