Another great 3 night stay! Clean Large Room ,Fantastic Shower,Fast reliable lift and plenty of parking spaces.Perfect location for long or mini break ( town centre 5 mins) Staff Friendly/Fantastic and Knowledgeable, especially Reception take a Bow “ Lindsey”!🤩all professionaly overseen by Manager Olivier! 10/10 BRAVO!! Very unfortunate series of events

Unfortunate series of events . I cannot stress highly enough that the members of staff were marvellous however …. We were here for two nights and when checking in I was given room 311 , 3rd floor at the back of the hotel . Sadly the room backs onto the A61 which is an extremely busy road , despite the double glazing I had a very disturbed night . The receptionist was happy to change rooms and 122 was perfect …. Until the fire alarm sounded at 3.15 am and they were unable to turn the siren off for 45minutes by which time every resident was wide awake . Accor please do something to improve the sound insulation at the back of the building and have a fire alarm technician on speed-dial for the night receptionist , this leaves your hard working staff vulnerable to grumpy , sleep deprived residents

Good hotel and within good reach of the M1 motorway. Also very handy if you are going to the cricket, with the ground only 10 minutes walk away. The staff are very nice and breakfast is available, though I didn't bother as it is £12 for all you can eat and I don't eat much. The room I had was comfortable, clean and spacious. A good size bathroom with an excellent shower. The only downside was that it was so hot and apparently all the rooms are. I had to use three fans as well as keeping the windows open, which with the hotel being on a busy roundabout was not ideal, due to the noise. There is plenty of parking, but please be aware that getting across roads is not easy. The roundabout has dual carriageways around it and someone elderly, or less quick on their feet would find this a challenge

A great location to visit friend in Derbyshire. Easy no nonsense, great value for money. Comfortable, lots of safe parking . Close to the historic town centre pubs a restaurants. We have used this hotel a few times and it will remain our top choice.

Close to city center, but a bit dangerous for walking since it's next to the roundabout. The room was large and comfortable and reasonably clean but could stand good deep cleaning particularly in the shower. Free parking is available, but it seems it's not quite big enough for all of the cars, so a bit of a challenge. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pretty much a good Ibis experience
