Basic hotel - does what it it supposed to given the price

It's a basic hotel. If you accept that before you book then you'll love it, does just what it's supposed to do, which is provide cheap, comfortable, warm basic rooms. It's not the Ritz, which is reflected in the price. Plenty of parking in the hotels two parking areas. Roads around the hotel are busy but very safe to cross if you use a bit of common sense. Limited drinks at the bar, but again, to be expected at a budget hotel. All staff were friendly, easy check in and check out, not the place for a romantic break but ideal as a cheap base for a night or two.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. If you are thinking of booking it …. DONT. The room has a weird sicky smell the bed is that hard it offered me out some staff nice but one man very rude offering to send me colleague out on his bum. Save you’re money.

Hotel is reeds enkele jaren bezocht en steeds tevreden over locatie, verblijf en gastvrijheid. Komen hier zeker nog terug.

Don't even bother with this place. You take your life in your hands trying to walk there for a start. It's across from a busy roundabout where the cars speed constantly, so it's probably better suited if you're driving there. Now for the rooms, they are awful. Stained, dirty, grubby, there was marks on the bedroom walls, mould on the bathroom ceiling and dirt on the floor. We stayed on a Wednesday night and unfortunately for us, the noisiest idiots on the planet were also staying on our floor. They allowed their unruly kids to run up and down the corridor constantly. They were up and down to each other's rooms banging doors continuously, even though we went out and asked them to stop as we couldn't sleep. The noise continued all night. This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed. The reception staff couldn't even crack a smile either. It might be cheap, but it certainly isn't cheerful.

Ok, this a hotel catering for the basic need. A bed and bathroom. Both were fair. This hotel is fine for a nights stay but not as a destination itself. The bed is comfortable but on the firmer side. As always this is very personal. Bathroom is basic and clean. The rest might need some updating. These hotel always have an interesting mix of clients. Overlook this and you get what you pay for. £42 for two persons one night is not a bad deal.
