A lovely hotel, really helpful staff and a tidy room but the toilet smelled awful, like someone had peed all over it and it had never been cleaned. My friend and I stayed in this hotel on Saturday overnight and paid the privilege of £120 plus £8 parking but that included breakfast and a welcome drink on arrival...still very expensive for Glasgow considering how out of the way this hotel is. The staff are all lovely and very helpful and the room was nice but the toilet, which is separate from the bathroom, was disgusting. The smell made me sick every time I used it. It smelled so strongly of urine and it was actually difficult to squeeze into the toilet and shut the door, it was so restrictive and neither of us are big people. The toilets need scrubbed with bleach from top to bottom, or replaced. The lifts are also a nightmare, with an over sensitive touch keypad and only being able to accommodate 4 people at the most. It's not the worst hotel and with a couple improvements could be so much better. Not worth the money as is and better hotels in the City Centre

Superb staff, disappointing room quality for the high price

The staff here are brilliant. They really went out of their way to help us out. From the very warm reception staff to the brilliant team working behind the bar, they really are a credit to the hotel. Alas, the quality of the accommodation is very poor. The room we stayed was very basic and lacking many simple features that travellers want and need like a small fridge, a safe and other standard features of properties that charge these kind of prices. The decor and quality of the fittings are low quality. It's just not what you expect to get when you pay this sort of price. And £7.50 for a pint of Tennants? High prices, lovely service but unfortunately a sub par product at the end of it. Sums up the overall experience.

The Pitts.. Needs a big upgrade..

As an Accor Gold card holder I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room: The room’s decor- supposedly Executive level- was tired. The linen didn’t actually fit the bed.. the bottom sheet just about covered the mattress which had no protector on it. Bathroom: : the glass shower screen leaked , meaning the floor was covered in water after every use. Fortunately I had a travel adapter with me, as there were no USB charging points. Just two 3 pin sockets.. No air conditioning in the room. Luckily, although it was August the weather was cooler than normal- I did open the window to allow some cool air to flow through. I should imagine the room would be unbearable in hot weather.. The food available in the evening was average, although mostly the breakfast was adequate. Piped music played constantly in the bar and foyer which i found annoying.. I found myself going up to the room earlier than I would have.. to watch TV that didn’t have a great choice of channels! The lifts were slow. The staff however, were lovely, no complaints about the service I received from them. I don’t think I will stay here again should I come back to this city.

Bad experience

Mediocre breakfast, poor fitness without many attributes to use, bad steam bath that burned your legs, so that you had to put your legs up, bad elevators with a sensor system that kept pressing buttons unnecessarily and a bad parking system with coins that they forgot to hand out.

Poor quality room

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 307 to attend the pink concert in June . Possibly one of the messiest rooms I've ever stayed in which is a shame because the rest of the hotel looked lovely. For £279.98 I expected more, the room was worth nowhere near that amount. As soon as we walked in the room we noticed the amount of stains that are on the carpet especially the bright pink ones. There was also stains on the walls, the toilet wasn't in the same room as the sink and bath which seems a bit unhygienic, most of the furniture was damaged, the TV frame was all cracked as if it had previously been dropped and there was also a huge hole on the side of the bed sheet. Genuinely never seen a room like it.
