Expensive with great location but not the value

We stayed at this location during our visit to Geneva, This place had the accommodation for 4 people with breakfast included. Price is very high but in a closer distance to the train station. There are a lot of public transport options.If you are in the middle of deciding between Novotel airport and this one, for commute perspective, this is the best. The neighborhood is good with a lot of restaurants in walking distance and also a grocery store nearby. There is a shopping complex with Mugros, Decathlon in a walking distance. The rooms are not that specious for a people of 4, especially additinal beds provided, not a great setup. The shower has a good water flow and hot. All other accessories like iron, hair dryer, everything was handy. The room was maintained every day, and the new towels are kept, which is great. One good thing about this hotel is the buffet, They have a huge buffet. But the eggs look very bad. Hummus tasted excellent. We enjoyed the buffet doing our stay here. The staff is friendly. The air condition in the room sucks. It's not a great value for the money, but for the location, you get the benefit. But nit worth the money you pay.

Additionally, we apologize if the air conditioning system did not provide the comfort you expected. Concerning the breakfast experience, we continuously work on improving our buffet offerings and appreciate your honest feedback on the eggs. We are glad, however, that you enjoyed other items such as the hummus. Finally, it is wonderful to hear that our staff's friendliness stood out during your visit and that the buffet, overall, was a highlight of your stay. Great value for money in Geneva!

We stayed for one night as a family of 2 adults and 2 young children. It was a comfortable stay. We picked this hotel because it was a short walk away from the station (about 10 mins) and the cheapest hotel that we could find in Geneva as we were only staying for one night. Welcoming reception. Only thing I wound say is that there was no special decoration in the room as we did mention in advance we were celebrating an anniversary. The breakfast was great! Fresh pancakes from the pancake machine which the children loved and lots of options. Great value for money and a short walk away from the lake front too. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Best hotel in town!

A very nice, affordable and friendly hotel. Good service. Our rooms are always clean. Breakfast were good, different choices to eat and fresh. We met Betsy, she's a good and loving person. She helped my son especially in doing pancakes! It's fun staying in Novotel Geneva Centre!

This was our last leg on a 2 week Europe trip so we’ve already stayed at quite a few hotels for comparison. The Novotel in Geneva provided a decent stay, however just some criticism from a couple of tourists visiting Geneva. We stayed in April 2024 and we were not impressed with the service provided by the front reception desk. We found the receptionists not very welcoming and cold. Knowing that we are tourists from out of the country they didn’t seem to provide us with much guidance within Geneva and we completely missed part of the city due to this. Just a heads up there’s an additional city tax charge that is charged separately from the cost of the room. The washrooms are not well maintained and designed poorly, particularly for elder people. The tubs are not designed for the high water pressure and as a result, the bathroom floors get drenched. All the outlets in the bedroom are not in working condition and are not compatible with standard plug converters for Europe. Coffee wasn’t replaced daily as courtesy and although a complimentary bottle of water was provided, we were not notified upon check-in. However, the breakfast selection was great, the quality of the food was good and the host at the breakfast was always very friendly and smiley. This may be a hotel catered to professionals and not tourists. While overall the stay was good, with improving these little attention to details it could’ve been 5/5.
