Очень удобное расположение, если вы делаете остановку во время переезда из Парижа в Берлин. Очень приветливый персонал. Благодарен сотруднику, который нас встречал во время приезда 31.08 вечером и помог решить маленькие проблемы. Единственная проблема - очень шумная работа кондиционера в нашем номере, что неудобно, так как окна выходят на дорогу и открыть их для проветривания нельзя.

There's much to like about this hotel. The facilities are very good. My room was spacious and well equipped. WiFi was reliable and the shower/bathroom great. Aircon was also reliable. It is on the 133 bus route from Cologne Hauptbahnhof - 4 stops, taking 10-15 minutes, or you could walk in about 30 minutes. Nearby is the waterfront with a range of amenities, cafes etc. My only quibble was a lot of families with small children were staying when I was. Whoever had the room above me didn't stop their kids running up and down screaming until late at night - it was like a heard of elephants - and it took me 20 minutes to get down to breakfast as the 2 elevators were so busy! The breakfast was excellent, but again A LOT of small children were running around, often unsupervised by their parents. I'd stay again, but maybe next time when it isn't school holidays!

This hotel was very well located to access public transport to see all the top sights. We booked through British Airways and sent an email to hotel to try and help us with an interconnecting room for the 2 rooms we booked. However, this was not possible. Probably due to booking the break only 12 days before departure. With this in mindI just accepted the booking as it was. I was then delighted when we checked in to find out that the hotel could ensure we had 2 twin rooms right next to each other, which was very useful. The staff were very helpful all round. Especially, on two occasions when we locked ourselves out our rooms due to forgetting our keys cards and for storing our luggage. The rooms were of a very good standard. We all felt like we were staying in a very good quality hotel. The rooms were also spacious, clean and the comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay.

Standard Novotel package, nice comfortable room. But it was not cheap and very disappointed to find no extras, not even bottles of water in the room - had to buy from a machine. (Previous hotel in Munich, same group, had a free mini bar - nice). The hotel is also a taxi ride from the city and there were only a couple of small restaurants nearby - fortunately both good.

Nice stay, a few problems.

When we arrived, the receptionists were able to assist us and they were nice but not enthusiastic, which is fine if you don’t mind that. The lift requires a key card to be scanned which we didn’t know until we were in the lift and another person staying at the hotel told us on the second day. There were no signs to tell us that. The room was spacious and the view was lovely. It was always cleaned very well when we went out. There were plenty of towels and a spare mattress and pillow, although the mattress was in a bag that said “spare pillow” so if you need a spare mattress check all the bags in the cupboard before asking reception. The room was very hot all day which made it difficult to sleep at night and the air conditioning didn’t work at all. It just made noise. The fridge was barely cold. It just about did what we need it to do but it was soaking wet. The beds were comfortable. We had a room for two adults and two children. The children’s beds weren’t separated and the mattress was only enough for one child which is why we needed the spare mattress, so be aware of that if travelling with children. The hotel wasn’t very far from the city, it was around 15 minutes to walk. There were plenty menu is very limited, with only two desert options and very few meals. Tv was big which was good but most channels are in German.
