Love this hotel. Staff are great and it is so handy to everything. Restaurant and bar have been nicely refurbed. Beds are super comfy and the rooms are a good size. The evening menu has been upgraded and has some lovely choices. Breakfast was great.

2 weeks mandatory MIQ at cost of $3500.00. One warm meal in 2 weeks that was after I complained. Try cold bacon and scrambled eggs???? Ticked "gluten free" allergies, the food delivered was NOT Gluten Free. When I complained I was referred to the kitchen manager whom did not understand what Gluten Free was. I was lucky the chef was there as she knew what I was talking about, I was still delivered food with Gluten in it. The list goes on bottom line I will never use Accor again it took me weeks after to get some semblance of my health back from that stay.

I was sent here for my Auckland MIQ. Very nice sized room, comfortable bed, nice sofa / lounger, large desk, a small bar fridge and a pleasant outlook. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. We had 3 choices for each meal including a vegetarian dish, I tried most on offer and they were excellent, very tasty and covered a wide choice of international foods. It's not a complaint, but in most cases the meals were too much and in the end I stopped ordering lunch and finished my prior evening meal...but it meant I did miss out on some other yummy looking dishes ! It was obvious they were using high quality ingredients and the meals made from scratch. Beverage included smoothies, plenty of bottled water, mineral water with fruit juice, Chi, a good range of tea and coffee in the room plus you could order barrista coffee for a small charge. We could go walking at least twice a day for 30 minutes in outside courtyard. The MIQ team from the various government departments were efficient and friendly. If you need to MIQ, this was a fine place to be allocated.

Have had 2 weeks in isolation at the Novotel Ellerslie. It’s been way better than I expected. Great hotel with the best exercise area - large space for walking /running outside and the staff are most hospitable. In particular Parth the front desk manager who handled a difficult situation with grace and professionalism- excellent guy - thank you Parth. Also great thanks to all the security staff who have a tough job managing guests but do it with friendliness and kindness. Food great and rooms comfortable.

Slow internet. Cold to luke warm food. The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We did have the carpark to exercise in for fresh air whilst wearing a mask, however it appeared this was optional for the security staff as they appeared to wear them around their chins or not at all.

In regards to the meal you are more to welcome to let us know if you find the meals to be cold to lukewarm as we can get this rectified immediately however I have informed the Restaurant and Kitchen that meals are hot to the rooms.
