Returned after 3 years to relax, satisfied, but will not return again probably (maybe it's not a good idea to return to the place you enjoyed so much, since you're looking at it with different eyes already!). What brought us there is the see and the beach, as well as good food and a relaxing atmosphere. We basically got what we went for, so we are OK! But considering the 5-star rating and the price you pay, one should expect much more than what is offered: 1) rooms are small and quite oldish, the shower cabin is really an S size and old, should have been replaced years ago (it's not at all 5 star): though I heard there are renovated rooms with higher prices, so be careful what room you get; 2) it seemed the variety of the food decreased since last time; 3) the room service was disappointing: not only you have to pay 9 euro for delivery of whatever you order, you need to call them after an hour or so to understand if they received your order (since you can order only by the application now). Probably 95% were Italian, only a few French or German speakers, so knowing Italian is a great plus (but the staff was very friendly as usual and they speak English)! Not a great location for sightseeing, but more for relaxing! Nothing worth finding a car and go out in hot weather to see something. A great plus for families with children, they have a football field, tennis courts, and some other activities for smaller ones. Definitely worth booking with half board (which is quite enough), otherwise will be much more expensive and hardly you can go out each evening for a dinner (no possibility to find anything in walking distance anyway).

Stayed for 5 nights for our 30 th Wedding Anniversary. Lovely room great service . Sadly only bad experience was Anniversary Dinner in il Ginepri resturant. Food mediocre and wives starter was cold before mine arrived about 10 mins after .

We are happy to learn that you chose our hotel to celebrate your 30th wedding anniversary and that you had a very nice relaxing experience with us. It is a real shame that the episode happened at I Ginepri restaurant cast a shadow on your otherwise perfect vacation. Our F&B Manager explained me that due to a technical problem with the palmtop only the order of an appetizer (your wife's soup) was transmitted to the kitchen. Unfortunately, we only became aware of the bug at the time of the service. Our maître proposed then to bring the soup back to serve both starters at the same time, but you refused very politely without showing any sign of irritation. However, I want to personally apologize for what happened. I am sure that my staff do always their best to satisfy guests, but despite our best efforts at times some circumstances are beyond the scope of our control. We spent our summer vacation in Pullman Timi Ama Sardegna for a second year in a row. Although we are all passing through a difficult time, the service in the resort was excellent. Everyone did their best to make us feel special and enjoy two weeks of full relaxation. We would like to thank to the amazing staff of Timi Ama, most of all to several people who are the real treasures of this place - just like the wonderful Porto Giunco. The absolute highlight of our days was the lunch at I Ginepri restaurant thanks to Davide and his team with both Matteos and Luca. They went beyond any expectations, we miss them so much. We had there also our last dinner, which was another fantastic experience. All other dinners at the main restaurant were also great with the help of Andrea who managed to find different premium wine every night to satisfy our demanding wine taste. On top of the lovely beach and the sea there, it was huge pleasure having Maria always around ready to make you feel good, as well as the tall lady at the beach bar ( I’m so sorry I forgot her name). Finally, having fun with Fabio (Mr. Pizza) and enjoying the performances and the brilliant voice of Carmine was another important ingredient to have the perfect vacation. Overall, everything was wonderful - the place, the people, the food. Hope we will be back soon. Grazie mille!

Dear Timi Ama, we are couple of weeks back home, but still are not able to forget the wonderful vacation we had at your property. We travel a lot, have been already on many places, countries, hotels, but those 10 days we spent with you were realy one of the most enjoyable we ever had. Starting with very professional and kind people, nice garden view hotel room, delicious breakfast and dinner, beautiful beach surrounding and ending with smart evening entartainment. Our son is still singing and dancing on songs from Baboo show. You guys have a great property, excellent service, so please continue this way. We hope will be able to return back.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the hotel was: -Very clean and well maintained -Room was nice but the 'view to the Garden' was disappointing, as this was simply a green field with a few palm trees plonked in the middle!! - Restaurant was outstanding - food was fresh and very well prepared. - Hotel swimming pool was outstanding - clean and very big, with very nice design, and seating/loungers were great. Towel service was also very good. -Entertainment was ok - bit more variety would be good. -Beach was outstanding - great loungers and great service.

My stay was ok. I expected more from a 5 star hotel. While many of your staff members were very helpful and kind, there were several that were rude, seemed to be inconvenienced by having to work and help guests and annoyed. These are the people that unfortunate make and leave the biggest impression.

The room was excellent with a great view over the pool and bay. The balcony was a nice addition which we used. Food, as usual, was varied and of a very high standard. Top marks must go to the staff - always polite, immediately helpful, friendly - they are a real credit to the hotel. We have mixed views re the entertainment. The shows were excellent. The DJ and group were for us too loud - we could barely think. We did not stay to listen to them.

Rude and respectless reception staff

Dear Accor Team, By mistake I booked for 1x Person instead of 2 persons as I traveled together with my wife. At the check-in I agreed to pay up for my wife and reception staff tried to increase my price from EUR 320 to Eur 580 (one room/ per night!!). I argued that at Accor hotels you usually pay around 30% extra for a second person and not nearly 100% more. And if I must pay double then I should get two rooms and not only one! The reception just snubbed me that I can check online if I don't believe the price is correct! I checked online and showed the reception staff an example of beginning of August (1x person EUR 320 or 2x person EUR 460). The reception just smirked at me and said: "Now we have July(!) and not August." I replied: "How I can find a July price as the website shows fully booked?!?" The reception just rolled her eyes and replied that she cannot help me then and I must pay up the price as quoted by her. Me and my wife became very upset by this respect-less behavior and asked her: a) Please try to be not that arrogant... b) I would like to talk with the hotel manager. Just after 2 minutes appeared the reception manager and apologized that his staff made a mistake and the price is certainly not double if a second person (my wife) will be added. He offered a price of EUR 480 per room / per night which is similar as shown on the Accor website. This I accepted and the problem was solved. However, even the problem was solved by the management immediately, our holiday mood was very down. If you spend more than EUR 1,000 in a hotel for two nights and will be treated like that for the check-in, you do not feel welcomed. Furthermore, the respect-less, snappish and unprofessional reception lady gives me the impression that the management has no good skills in choosing the right staff for their front desk or the management provides an inadequate training. As an international businessman staying with Accor hotels since 2013, spending in average EUR 10,000 in Accor hotels per year, holding a Accor Platinum card for several years........This was my first and very worst experience I ever had at a Accor Hotel all around the world. Pullman Sardinia - Never again! (However, I also must admit that all the other staff (apart of this reception lady) did a good job!) I recommend Sofitel (by Accor), Hyatt or Shangri La Hotels. Much less variety of seafood at dinner buffets this year

My wife and I stayed in Pullman Timi Ama 11 nights from Sep.17 to Sep.28 (Room 3208). This was my forth stay in the hotel and the second for my wife so we could compare. Pros: 1. Great hotel location with close access to Cagliari airport and Villasimius (small town definitely worth visiting!).2. Lovely beach with white sand. The hotel management was kind to provide us with the first line beach lounges (instead of room upgrade to me as a platinum member as the hotel was fully booked) which my wife enjoyed a lot.3. Friendly and helpful staff in the reception, restaurants, tourist center, Agora desk – always greeting guests with a smile. Nothing was a trouble for them – e.g. to find a nearby store to urgently repair broken iPhone, to arrange a tour to Cagliari etc. Sole and Ariana are the dancing stars, friendly and easy-going. Natalia was of great help with booking the shuttle and Olesya does excellent job as a Russian-speaking hostess. Cons: 1. Dinner buffet choice of seafood was a lot worse this year. Generally, it is getting worse year by year. Neither lobsters not omars, king prawns at the best and generally less dishes as compared to last September (We made photos what was offered on the tables previous years and now). HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT as this is the main reason why we keep choosing Timi Ama hotel. At the same time, the hotel raises their rates at the beginning of every year, which is not fair. 2. Poor room service or hotel economy? Even we always tipped the housekeeping, the toiletries and coffee capsules were not replenished the following day throughout the week. Our complaints at reception helped to solve the problem.3. We could only see TWO different theme evening shows at the amphitheater during our 11 night’s stay, which was less than in the previous years. The show due on Monday, September 24, was just cancelled to our great disappointment on one of our final days, most likely because the hotel was not so full with guests that week. Overall, we would rate this year stay as enjoyable but current price-quality ratio (mainly in terms of seafood dinner buffet!) will most likely make us search for another summer vacation place next year…

I regret that, due to the fact that the hotel was full, we weren’t able to offer you a room upgrade as required by your LCAH Platinum status, but I’m happy to read that you appreciated our gesture of providing you with front row beach mattresses instead, which are normally sold for 70 € a day. On the other hand, I'm sorry to learn that you also detected several drawbacks during your stay. First of all, I am at once sorry and surprised to read that you found our choice of seafood at the dinner buffet worsened compared to last year. As it is normal, year after year we make some changes in the menu, but the proportion between seafood, meat or vegetarian dishes remains unchanged. So, on a weekly basis, you will find for example steamed prawn, crab tartare with avocado, prawn tails with cucumber, grilled prawn, Catalan-style spiny lobster, Dublin bay prawn with pea cream, oysters and several other specialties (based on the fish of the day available). Regarding your remark on room rates, I would like to inform you that that our rates are absolutely consistent with those of other 5-star resorts in our area. For more precision, rates have risen by 3% on average compared to last year. These are simply the rules of the market. Anyway, I would also like to emphasize that these annual increases are justified by all the improvements and additional services offered (e.g. beach bag, flip-flops, complimentary water in the rooms, better quality of bed linen and towels, etc). That said, I think I also clarified that no economy was done on room amenities. I’m sorry that there was little attention from our chambermaid in the daily replenishments of the toiletries and coffee capsules in your room. Believe me, this was an exception to our normal practices and please allow me to express my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. Finally, with regard to your comment on the evening entertainment, as far as I know it’s not possible that there were only two shows at the amphitheater during 11 days. In fact, our Entertainment & Lifestyle Manager confirms that there were 4 different stage shows (on the 17th – 20th – 23rd – 27th) and the number of this typology of performances has definitely not changed compared to last year. Furthermore, on September 24th no show was scheduled in the amphitheater. On the program there was a Latin theme evening at the pool bar. I would also like to clarify that the shows are not scheduled according to the hotel occupancy rate and when the shows are unfortunately canceled, it is only because of bad weather conditions. Convinced as we are that there is always room for improvement, we would like to thank you once again for sharing your precious feedback. I'm really sorry that your stay didn’t meet your expectations in full, up to the point that you are considering another destination for your next summer holiday.
