The staff are so friendly, and the beds are so comfortable they even let you leave your bags at the counter when you check out. the bad thing is that they don't have a shuttle bus, but I will still rate I 5 stars.

Excellent staff

Arrived at 11.00am and dropped luggage off there was a trainee (no name badge) at reception alone. She was doing a great job at a busy time. Returned at 1.30 and were helped by Alesha. She was so helpful and a great asset to the hotel. Lounge was lovely as usual with great staff. Had a beautiful quite corner room on the 10th floor. Will definitely be returning.

Not a particularly nice part of town

The staff were excellent. But this is a 5 star hotel in the most technical sense only. It is in a grotty part of town (can't be helped). The rooms are OK. I got the impression that the hotel is understaffed when I witnessed on more than one occasion queues of people waiting in line with a single person at reception. I stayed here because I rang Accor online to book the Sofitel (which was full) and I was told that there were rooms at the Pullman. But I suspect that this hotel is of far lower quality than the Sofitel. Yet it is expensive. Not good value for money.

Bit disappointed

This certainly doesn’t rate as five star with us. Three night stay still in progress. Staff pleasant enough but room nothing special. We had a shift after night one because of failing aircon. Night two seems no better on a very chill Melbourne night. And Blossoms bar charcuterie plate must be arguably the worst value for money on the planet. 12 cheap biscuits, two tiny pieces of cheese plus 3 slices of salami and some very indifferent ham and prosciutto: supermarket standard. No figs , dates, walnuts or similar. One sprig of pea sprout. Breakfast service is well done. Doesn’t compare well with Mercure: Pullman Brisbane.

Worst customer service from a high end hotel

I booked and prepaid for a 3 night stay a few months ago. Essentially got told that the booking was invalid and I had to pay again, leaving me >$1000 out of pocket at the start of our break. Rude, unhelpful managerial staff with no interest in trying to sort out the situation. I don’t know when or how I am going to get my money back.
