A great stay for corporate event

Hidden away along a very long dirt road is a delightful resort. The reception area is nice with close proximity to the conferencing facilities and restaurant. What is not located conveniently are the rooms. They’re in a separate building so there is a bit of a stroll. Not an issue as I didn’t have much luggage but I wasn’t expecting it. The room was great. Spacious with awesome views (even with kangaroos running by), and very comfortable bed and a relaxing vibe. The bathroom was lovely with an enclosed shower which is sometimes hard to find. Overall, an awesome stay 🎉

We spent a lovely three nights at the Novotel in the beautiful Barossa Valley. The staff were all really Helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect and had a balcony overlooking the gorgeous hills and the pool. The room has a fridge and kettle and even saw a toaster. Milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. The bathroom towels were lovely and big. Breakfast was included and I do not usually like a buffet but this felt like I was at home. Lots to choose from and the set up was perfect. Fresh food and lots of it. Loved the shape of the bowls for cereal! Great location and we opted for a private tour to do tastings so we would not have to drive and they picked us up from the hotel. You need to make a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. We are out one night and ate in the hotel restaurant the other nights. The food was delicious and came out piping hot which is always a plus! Freest place to stay if you are in the valley and reasonably priced.

booked 2 rooms through Luxury Escapes. The package included a free drink per day and tasting at a winery. Checked in but only 1 room was found and I was told the other room had been cancelled. I had to find my paperwork and ipad to prove I had 2 rooms with LE. We were finally allocated 2 rooms - I had said as long as they were located near each other it didnt matter where the rooms were. We were allocated rooms next to each other. We discovered both were disability rooms with shower curtains which I hate so we changed rooms. But in the interim our internet didnt work so we fixed that with reception. On my second visit to reception the guy gave me the drinks voucher. Next day we were out and about and decided to go to the winery tasting but reception had not provided us with the vouchers. We returned to the hotel to find our key cards didnt work so another trip to reception. The next morning I woke up to read the news on my ipad but again - no internet connection. Another call to reception. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and never experienced such bad service. Most of it can be allocated to the one person at reception who checked us in - or perhaps to the person who employed him. An honest review of the hotel is that it is definitely not 5 star, perhaps 3 & 1/2 but I am aware of that and I would continue to stay here. I know that certain parts of the rooms were upgraded a few years ago but the rooms are still dated. Dont recall the beds Ive had previously not feeling firm but in room 116 it was softish and I had trouble getting comfortable throughout the night. The hotel still has the best view of most hotels I've stayed at, beautiful fresh air, lovely staff in the eating area and i just love the coffee maker in the room.

we had a wonderful time here . thanks sarah for the welcome gift. this place is in the heart of the barossa with easy access everywhere . you can relax and enjoy the views or taken. the surrounding scenery. food esp at night menu 2 course is amazing and their steaks are as good as we have had anywhere. special credit to the staff they are friendly and also know the region well and are happy to advise on sightseeing. if i paid particular staff attention would be unfair as all so helpful but at night ryan and sarah so friendly as well as breaky gloria belinda samual and team . as mentioned though they are truly all standouts .

Luxurious room, magnificent views, plenty to do, staff wonderful. In the heart of the Barossa Valley absolutely stunning views across the valley. Great breakfast. All wineries easy to find. For the two of us it was the perfect location, would loved to have stayed longer.
