Fine for a short stay

It's a good hotel, for what it is. The location is perfect and it's the main benefit of staying here, as you're right in the heart of the city. I stayed in a room with two large beds with two other women and it accommodated us perfectly, we didn't feel it was too small. The bathroom was quite small though functional. If you're staying for just a couple of days this is perfect especially if you plan to spend your days out and about and won't spend a lot of hours in your room. The place is clean but clearly needs renovation, or at least a fresh coat of paint over the rooms. The game theme is quite cute though. You can play games in the lobby. Breakfast is a lot better than I expected, too.

Great location, a little noisy at times but for the price worth the money. Lovely staff & comfortable rooms - easy transport links in an overall safe city. Easily walkable to the main city centre & pretty good breakfast. Only slight downside was that rooms were on the older side - however this does not really Bother me. If you need a place to relax right in the city without draining your wallet this is the prefect choice especially for single travellers.

Do many things to love about this hotel. The game theme is very nice. Actually, it's more than nice; they did such an excellent job at decorating it with old arcade graphics. They have retro video game carpets, wall art, shower splash wall, etc. with retro graphics and text. They have an old game console in the lobby. It's very well done. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were nice. It's also near a subway stop. There's a LIDL grocery store very close by as well as coffee shops etc. A nice local coffee shop is right across the street: Kultura. They even had AC! The included breakfast included: a mini pancake machine, pastries, coffee - tea - hot chocolate from a machine, fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, hash brown thingies, lots more.

My daughter and I stayed here to attend the F1 Grand Prix. We wanted somewhere relatively cheap as it was just a base and not somewhere we would stay too long at. I had initially booked a double room and asked for it to be changed to a twin. Apparently this meant an “upgrade” and had to pay extra €5 per night. The hotel itself is well positioned being a minute walk to a metro station which takes you into the city in under 10 mins, and also Budapest Keleti station. The area is a bit rundown if I’m honest. Lidl a minute walk towards the metro seems to be a hub for the homeless and congregated there from early morning (urinating on pavement) to night time. The rooms are basic. There is no fridge or coffee/tea making facilities. If you want a coffee or tea then it’s readily available for free in the lobby as well as a paid bar and snacks. The bathrooms could do with a spruce up, water pressure not very good. As our room was facing the main road the noise was very limited at night, which was good. The breakfast selection was very good, with hot (sausage, scrambled egg and beans) and cold Buffett, with a large selection of breads. All in all the hotel was pleasant enough for a short trip but I think if we went again we would stay closer to the city.

Just a great Hotel with great rates easy too find near the metro station rooms were very clean shower had instant hot water bed was very comfy the AC worked great all staff were polite everyone spoke online check in was smooth i would 100% stay here again i did not eat here so can not say on this.
