We had a lovely, short stay here. Check in was welcoming and friendly. The room (we had a suite) was beautiful and clean and had a great layout for adults/children sharing. We loved the Moroccan feel. The room was well cleaned everyday. Breakfast was lovely. The only issue was the pool. It was very cold and we struggled to get in. This was particularly problematic for the children. Great location. Easy walk into the medina.

This hotel has become a favorite of ours in Essaouira. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from the medina. The pool area is lovely and peaceful, perfect for soaking up the sun. The breakfast was also very nice with plenty of options. As a vegan, I found good choices, although I ended up having the same things every day. The rooms were comfortable, with a large, lovely bed. The only drawback is that the rooms felt a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

The hotel is well located, however I found it to be aging. The rooms were pleasant, but in need of renovations especially for a 5 star resort. The staff, on the other hand, were amazing. Ayoub in particular made our stay superb. He assisted with everything and made us feel at home. Thank you.

During my recent stay at Hôtel Le Médina Essaouira Thalassa sea & spa - MGallery, I was particularly impressed by the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Their dedication to providing top-notch service truly stood out and made the stay more pleasant. However, despite the commendable staff, the hotel rooms and corridors are in need of significant refurbishment. Both areas show signs of wear and tear and outdated, and an upgrade is necessary for the hotel to reclaim its 5-star status. Additionally, the breakfast offered was quite average, lacking the variety and quality expected from a 5-star establishment. Improvements in this area would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Furthermore, the sound isolation between floors is inadequate. We couldn't sleep for two nights in a row due to the noise from the room above. A lady was walking in heels and moving furniture around until 2 o'clock in the morning, which was highly disruptive. In summary, while the staff at Hôtel Le Médina Essaouira Thalassa sea & spa - MGallery are a shining asset, the hotel's facilities, soundproofing, and breakfast options require attention and enhancement to meet the high standards of a 5-star hotel. There are better options with higher standards costing a lot less.
