Mercure Nelspruit Hotel 3 stars

The reception staff was friendly. The convenience of being next to a Mall is great. You need to ensure that your cleaning staff does an intense and thorough clean before the next guests arrive. It is not pleasant walking into a bad smelling room - the carpets must be replaced with tiles for hygienic purposes. The shower was mouldy and I had to use my domestos to pour it down the drain as it was black and mucky. We slept on top of the blankets. The picture on the booking website showed a beautiful blue clean pool, but it was green and i mentioned this to the staff and he said it is like that after the rain. I was so hot that I got into the pool but it was stinking like body sweat really. I was not happy at all and suggest that you take one unit at a time and do a complete overhaul. Geewiz :(

Good. Fridge is not cold. Pls fix fridges or gas them up. They weak

On the website this hotel has all the amenities you need, but in reality it provides the minimum. There is a cooker, but no pans. There is aircon, but so badly located we had to turn it off over night. There is coffee, but no milk. There is a hairdryer, but the handle is broken. Generally it needs some maintenance. On the plus side, the location is convenient to walk into the mall next door for supplies. The reception area was nice. I am an ALL silver member, but no welcome drink was provided.

My family and I were very happy with the rooms. They were very nice. However, the food at the hotel needs to be improved. We had dinner there on our first night and unfortunately the food was not that good. We were planning to eat our meals at the hotel but ended up having to go out for meals. Fortunately the mall is just right next door to the hotel, so it was not a problem at all.

We had an amazing stay. And the customer service there was absolutely beautiful. Food was scrumptious. Wasn't much happy about the pool that had not been cleaned since we got there on the 24th the water was green. But everything was perfect

Please deal with the bathrooms, there’s a smell that comes from the drainage system and also please provide something to deal with mosquitoes, I couldn’t sleep because of them

Honestly my experience was not good, I expected something different than what I found in be less standard in terms of furniture in the room and air conditioner old staff which led us to request early departure
