Hello The rooms are cleaned , the reception is very good, but the extra room conditions are degraded. No glass, no plates, no tools, nothing. Ask for an ice basket at the bar and they gave a plastic square box (maybe from an ice cream) and broken at the top bezel.... at 2AM a bunch of guys drinking and celebrating at the parking .... Please have a look to extra facilities at rooms and improve parking control so we can have a peaceful stay. Than You

1. You don't reserve parking so when you return from going out you have someone else parked in front of your room. This is not a problem if people can park. We had a car park skew and almost in our flat. We had to squeeze past to get to our room. As it rained we got wet getting to our room. What is the point of having parking outside a room but anyone can park there. 2. Our safe did not work so we could not store our valuables( only fixed the following day) 3. The bedside lights were blown so we could not use them (only fixed the following day) 4. Our Aircon was useless as it faces the door so the only place it cool is as you enter the door the rest of the room stay hot. 5. Carpets seem like they needed a good steam clean 6. Kettle does not switch off by itself.

I stayed there to get a nights rest before a trip and I didn’t sleep. The aircon in the room was on some sort of auto timer, it shut off every 50 minutes. So one an hour I would wake up when the room was horribly hot and stuffy to put the aircon back on. The room smell musty, the aircon dripped, which was prolly part of the smell. There was only 1 glass for the two of us to share. There was coffee, but no kettle to boil water in? Luckily we did have two coffee cups. The security lock was broken off the front door and the bathroom door didn’t close all the way.

We are a family of 5 who travel very frequently. However we were very disappointed with the overall status of the room. Firstly I clearly indicated on the booking that we are 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) There was not enough cutlery in the kitchen. and only 1 pan. We ended up going to buy pots and bowels for our cereals in the morning. There was not dish cloth, no liquid soap in the kitchen. However it stated that this was a self catering hotel. We constantly had to ask for toilet paper, there was no telephone in the room The room itself was extremely dirty I certainly would not recommend a family to stay there for vacation. Our only saving grace was the Mall opposite the hotel. The fridge was so useless (not cold at all) we even had to dispose some of our food which we had bought. Me and my family actually hated our stay there and we wish we never booked there.

Mercure is a good hotal but I think that the quality of units is going down. My experience this time was not as good as it used to be.

The location of the hotel is very good and the rooms were quite comfortable. The reception staff were very accommodating in that they changed my room to one where I could smoke on the balcony (pity there are no smoking rooms) and also allowed me a late check-out.

Awesome Staff - Hotel needs maintenance

The staff where wonderful - friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and hygenic. However - everything was tired and worn and old. eg. the towel provided in the bathroom was spotlessly clean but it had a hole in it, the edges where frayed. The base of one of the beds was ripped/frayed. The t-cups provided where clean but they where marked from years of use, the green blind in the front big window of the entrance was clean but it was badly worn with a silver discoloration. I can go on with the list. The long and the short is that the hotel needs a little TLC.

I stayed in Room 517, there were too many cochroaches. The bathrooms drying towels are a bit old and didn't comfortably dry out

It was not my first time at the hotel, so can say that its not the same. Service is going down. The bathroom has the soap holder broken and its dangerous for kids. Chech in took long. there was a cue but only one person attending.

I’ve been stay in Mercure Hotel for a long time. But in this last stay I didn’t like. 1. I and my family we found the room dirty. 2. We had to ask some knifes, forks, plates and spoons. 3. I have three children. We wanted to go to the swimming poll and we found the water very green. I asked if they could put some product to improve the water but unfortunately nothing happened. 4. I know that is not your guilty but when we arrived there wasn’t enough power in the city. Fortunately, the generator was working.
