Good Hotel on the Motorway [France]

we are on roadtrip from switzerland to france and stayed here for a night, they had FREE secured car parking and on the motorway and hence we selected this place, we have booked it through expedia and rate was good as well around EUR 50/night without breakfast. Pro The checkin was fast, with free wifi, near to motorway, good & helpful staff. Cons Very small rooms, there was couple of spider in the room [but the staff removed it, so nice], Feedback they should add coffee maker in the room, and some more English channels to the TV.

The classic of you pay for what you get. Ground floor rooms were very basic and towels of poor quality and very small. Breakfast room also small and at squash if you go at the wrong time. Parking it gated and locked at night.

Staff were great but I was surprised by how basic the rooms were and also how dated it was. Although ideal for autoroute I would not stay in a Ibis budget hotel again. Also nowhere near by to walk and get anything to eat.

Dear MC Norwich, I am deeply sorry that the greatness of our staff wasn't enough for you to appreciate our stay. Our location is at the exit of the highway, which is not, indeed, the best place to go for a walk, but only for an easy stop along the road. Nice staff, very helpful, giving refreshments during the heatwave. Good value for money, large parking, close to the motorway It was a heatwave and airconditioning was not effective enough to relieve it.

Worst stay ever.

I,m a regular guest with the Accor group and I was on my way back from our vacation and booked the Ibis Macon to have a rest for 1 night only. As soon as I entered the room I saw that the trash bin was,'t empty and the bed looks like somebody had just slept in it. Also the pillow cases were not clean. Worst the glasses in the room were used and left dirty in the room. I went down to the reception complaining about the situation, the lady at the front desk told me she can,'t help, and she was,'t willing to come to the room and check by herself. I never experience this attitude and for sure I will never come back to 't his hotel. Roelof Nijhof
