oldfashioned hotel, bathroom not so nice, no hot water in the shower, far to expensive breakfast: cold scrambled eggs fromt the refigerator, cold pancakes: disgusting. dirty glass coffee bags, I higly advice not to got to this hotel.

Note on Novotel in France: in other countries you may expect from a 4 stars hotel a Minibar and Shower caps available, for some reason Novotel hotels in France don't have Minibar in the rooms, and shower caps are not in the rooms and are not even available at the reception. Also, the WC is often by itself in small room within your hotel room, and it is not where the bathtub and the sink are. While planning a stop between dinner in Annecy and next stop in Paris and this was a good option, also because reception is available 24 hours, and parking is free. The hotel is easily reachable outside the motorway, the parking is close to the entrance and there is a very nice Hotel Lobby. The rooms are identical to the ones in the other Novotel, so a good amount of space for 2 people, for 4 people is a bit small but still ok. The breakfast buffet is good with a lot of options. There is also a small swimming pool if you have time to use it.

VVery poor experience and won't return.

Arrived to a pleasant foyer, lounge area, bar and air conditioning. Then it went downhill rapidly. Unhelpful receptionist. We were told that there was no air conditioning in any of the rooms, although ok in the foyer? We had asked for a ground floor room to accommodate my husband with mobility issues. The room given, was at least 80m away. A struggle to walk that far. When we eventually reached the room, it was pretty run down. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom and toilet were separate. Narrow and dated toilet room and shower was over a bath with no rails for someone with a disability. I couldn't take the shower head off the low hinge to put it higher for a shower. My husband had to stretch to do it. No safety mat in the bath. My husband simply couldn't have a shower. The sink was cracked and stained. The room was stifling. The meal was mediocre and service slow. All very well saying that the rooms are being updated. We should have been told that our room had not yet been renovated and warned beforehand that there was no air conditioning and offered a discount or another room. We had travelled miles from England and were just too tired to find another hotel at this stage. Shame on you Novatel. Very poor experience and we won't return.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago and my recollection was it was very good. This time I was disappointed. The room was ok. Drink making facilities but no milk. The restaurant menu was also disappointing. I had a burger which was extremely dry. The fries were extra. The breakfast experience was better but the buffet wasn’t refilled quickly enough and the sausages were overcooked and the fruit had seen better days! . I appreciate it was a busy night but the staff all looked stressed and the service left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t just a place to put your head down like Ibis Budget but was reasonably expensive. I am writing this having last night stopped in Novotel Tinquex which was a different class and I would have expected both to have been a similar standard.

Disappointing.

This is not a four star hotel - it should have three stars at most. It does not have a lift, and does not have a safe or fridge in the room. The fixtures and furnishings are outdated and not all TV channels worked. The dining room had open buffets at dinner and breakfast but allowed several dogs in the room. The dinner buffet was good, but the breakfast was very limited and the scrambled eggs were stone cold.
