Start to finish a special experience. High marks given to Willie & Elvis, the front desk staff Housekeeping and Gabby’s However, we checked out at 5:30 am Sunday Morning and I left my I Phone charger on the desk in our room. It was a last minute booking and grateful there was a room available that was within budget as well as near my conference location. Staff was very friendly and little amenities like the loaner umbrellas really saved me. The beds, pillows and robes were cozy and a warm welcome after a long day. The air conditioning worked really well and on the 23rd floor it was so silent so my sleep was never interrupted. As a solo traveler I felt safe which is a big for me. Merci Beaucoup

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. We were so happy to be just a few blocks from so many of NY's best features, yet the hotel is on a quiet street. A perfect recluse in a vibrant city. The staff were very helpfull and kind.

I had no major problems at this property. Just a few general observations. As you probably know, the hotel is a bit worn and in desperate need of an upgrade/renovation. I am excited to hear that those plans are underway. Second, NYC is the only Accor property out of the many I have visited around the world, where there is not a welcome token/gift. For example, at every Sofitel or Fairmont I have visited provides a complimentary water/welcome treat, normally waiting for me in my room upon arrival in recognition of my Diamond status loyalty. I have had multiple visits to the NYC Sofitel property and have never received such. It is not a significant issue, just an observation.
