Good location for Phantasialand but would't stay again

We stayed as a family and when we booked the room, it wasn't clear that children under 12 are expected to stay in the same bed as the parents. So basically, there is 1 bed. We had no idea about this when booking as every other time we book for 3, it is made very clear the setup of the room. Some brands even tell you it isn't a family room. When questionning this, the staff on the desk were rude and abrupt about it basically telling us we had booked it and that was that. The most annoying bit was that even though we booked for 3, the room was setup for 2 people. So had to go back for more towels, pillows etc which is just frustrating. We took the room anyway, which was okay. I expected this to be better than an Ibis Budget, but it wasn't. The room was all plastic, needed updating as was tired and run down. Breakfast wasn't included and we didn't pay but looked basic and expensive for what it was. The only good thing was location to Phantasialand, but we wouldn't stay here again.

I am only giving this a 2 out of 5 for location to Phantasialand and the breakfast and the room . Regarding the staff rude and unpleasant manner towards families . The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was a really good selection. The parking barrier was problematic having to scan in and out every time. I stay at Hotel H next time not this .

The Bed sheets and covers were dirty with big blood stain,also some quiry stains on the matress, the shower in room 129 was roasted hand soap snd toilet papers are short of supply in room 129, there was cigarettes smell in room 131

Your descriptions regarding the beds, top sheets, shower and smell in room 131 are extremely worrying and not at all representative of the standard we normally provide. We deeply regret that our cleaning services did not meet expectations in this case. It is unacceptable that the beds and top sheets were not cleaned properly and that the shower was not in perfect condition. The same applies to the lack of toilet paper and hand soap, which is absolutely not our standard and we sincerely apologize for this omission. We will immediately discuss your comments with our cleaning staff and ensure that such incidents are avoided in the future. Additionally, we will take measures to ensure that rooms are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. In the middle of nowhere, in an industrial area, not much to find around for food ( except Mc Donalds. Burger King is already closed. I didn't feel very comfortable in this area, and was glad my car was ok in the morning. Staff was friendly. Room basic but biggest problem was that airco was not working and room was very hot.

Simple but clean rooms. Small bathroom completely plastic. To sleep no problem to eat be prepared, the choices for dinner are limited. Basic food but unfortunately not much in the area. Staff is friendly and plenty of free space for parking
