The motel was disgusting, mouldy and dirty and looks nothing like the photos. The photos look like when the motel was first built. The bed was hard like a rock and very uncomfortable. The carpets were filthy and stains all over. Would not stay again and charged a fortune to stay. The motel is very outdated and very old furnishings. Very disappointed with the stay.

Disgusting Cleanliness and Terrible Service

This is the second time my partner and I have stayed at the Mercure, however we were disgusted with the cleanliness of the room, with hairs all over the bathroom floor, sink, shower and bed. We checked out within a few hours rather than staying at the hotel and wrote to the management regarding this. We received an email saying thanks for the feedback and to call to discuss in further detail. We have called 4 times now, with no support at all, 2 times the manager was unavailable (no return call ever) and twice explaining to the assistant (who advised the manager was unavailable) the situation who decided to hang up on us when we said we would cc them in response to the managers email so they had a copy. Unfortunately we will never stay there again and would advise against it for others due to the cleanliness (disgustingness of the room) and lack of feedback response from management (they don't help even if they say they will, we've wasted hours now). The pictures don't even show the extent of the hairs in the bathroom and bed.

Fair Trade Case -booked 18 rooms 33 peeps via Accor. Emailed hotel in June & response was room paid in full and confirmed. 4 days from check in & i emailed them & not honouring booking & $1430 more

I was really worried after reading the reviews here but honestly I have nothing to complain about. Yes the parking corners are a bit tight but the actual parking is good. Reception was pleasant, gold Accor was recognised, yummy chocolate gift pack, 2 waters and 2 drink vouchers were provided. (Best Accor recognition pack received to date.) yes there is a chlorine smell from the foyer water feature. The bar wasn’t opened at the time we were told it was so we used our drink vouchers after we returned from dinner. Gold member room is on level 6 facing away from the busy road. It was spacious, clean and quiet. Wifi and air con worked well. It’s about a 20 min walk to Parramatta or a street full of fabulous Indian restaurants at Harris Park (not just curries is recommended). There’s a Woolworths supermarket, kfc and McDonald’s across the street. Once the light rail opens there will be a station about a block away. Parking cost $15
