Convenient location, friendly staff, standard cleaning. Breakfast offers a relatively good selection, but sometimes you have to wait quite a while for the replenishment of finished food options. I was satisfied with the breakfast selection, although I heard that some other guests were dissatisfied, comparing it to other hotels in this price range. I stayed at this hotel about 7 or 8 years ago, and little has changed since then, at least the room I was given looked quite tired, and there was noticeable mold in some places in the bathroom. Despite the interesting view, the windows were so dirty that the view didn't matter. Despite the late checkout agreed upon with reception at 2 hours later, just half an hour after 11 am, there was a loud knock on the door where the 'do not disturb' sign was hanging. The cleaning lady was very eager to know how long she would have to wait for the checkout. In a hotel where a night in a standard room costs around 150-200 euros, internal communication between staff could be better. Upon checking out, instead of my invoice, I was given a document with all the information of another guest, including their full name, address, contact information, and other identifying details. This document was in a sealed envelope, which I opened at home. I would like to believe that this is an isolated incident, as this is very sensitive information that should be handled properly, and such incidents can lead not only to reputational losses for the hotel but also significant harm and inconvenience for guests.

A decent hotel in a great location. I imagine it is often used for business for short visits. I was a tourist on a long weekend. As a wheelchair user the room was good but there was a couple of suggestions I would like to make. The sink and mirror are much too high and the bar beside the toilet was dangerously loose. One thing I didnt understand was why the bar was not open for lunch on the Sunday. Would have liked to have eaten something before I left for the airport.

A 2-Star Room in a 4-Star Hotel! So disappointed!!

Although it was just my partner & I staying at this Novotel, we opted for a deluxe family room to enjoy some quality time & luxury. But what a disappointment! The check-in process was laborious. The room, although big, was very basic, empty & run-down, and clearly has not had a facelift or refurbishment in decades. The old curtains were torn and full of holes, the carpet worn, decoration virtually non-existant. The room only has 2 basic chairs, but no comfy sitting facilities like a sofa or armchair. It's also very dark, even with all the lights turned on. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty upon arrival. The water in the sink never gets really hot. No bathtub. Shower head is fixed too high up and hard to maneuver. Cheap toilet paper and no toilet brush. There was no minibar (which was promised) and only a tiny fridge. The old, built-in television has the USB port connection switched off, so watching anything from a usb key was out of the question. The double bed is not king size, and only has a tiny nightstand on one side of the bed. The highly advertised swimming pool is a joke: it can barely fit 4 people without a person bumping into another. We expected a warm, cozy, modern room but it felt more like a room you would get in an old, two-star hotel. Maybe there are more modern, better equipped rooms in this Novotel, but the room we were given was a real letdown. And at an average rate of 300 euros a night (€1800 for 6 nights), totally overpriced! The invoice we received at check-out was incomplete and only listed the last night! We stayed in many other Accor hotels in Brussels & Antwerp over the years that offered more quality & comfort for much lower prices.

The bed size in our rooms is indeed queen size as mentioned on our website, and we apologize for any confusion regarding this. Our swimming pool is a jet-stream pool designed for relaxation and might seem compact when expecting a larger facility. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated or if it did not meet your expectations. Lastly, the issues with the check-out process and the invoice you received are concerning, and we are reviewing this internally to ensure accuracy and efficiency for our guests. We sincerely apologize for the shortcomings you faced and for not providing the value you rightfully expected for the rate paid. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future. Excellent location and a great stay in Brussels!!

My friend and I stayed at the Novotel Brussels City Centre last month and it was perfect. We initially booked two standard double rooms, but we were pleasantly surprised when we received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The executive suites were spacious, clean and contained everything you needed from Ritual cosmetics to a well stocked mini bar. The hotel is in the most perfect location close to restaurants, bars and sights. It is also a stone’s throw away from Brussels Central train station - ideal for day trips to Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp. One evening we ate in the hotel bar area and the food was decent. The waiter was really friendly and made our evening even more enjoyable! The gym is pretty well equipped with machinery and free weights. The swimming pool is on the small side but great for kids to splash around in. I’d highly recommend staying in this lovely hotel.

Best location. Always a parfect stay. Clean, central, with parking just in front. Walking distance from many city attractions suck as the Rooftop and Banksy Museum. The room service very fast and rooms cleaners did a great job during our stay. The Only downside is the indoor swimming was not warm at all.
