The room has BEDBUGS, I woke up with lots of bites in my back, I check out that moment and show concierge a picture of my back, she responded it might be BedBugs like it’s something común in that hotel and they won’t offer me any compensation I spend $850 for 1 night which in Europe it’s a outrageous! do not stay in this hotel!

Dear Guest, Thank you for informing us of your concerns during your stay. Immediately after you reported the issue, the room was thoroughly inspected by our housekeeping and technical teams. No evidence of bedbugs or any other pests was found, neither in the room nor in surrounding rooms. As a precautionary measure, the room was nevertheless taken out of service and checked again, in line with our internal procedures. We would also like to clarify that we do not understand the amount you mention, as our billing records show that the total paid for your stay was €264,47, which is significantly lower than the figure stated in your review. We regret that you experienced discomfort. However, based on the inspections carried out, we cannot confirm the presence of bedbugs, nor the statements made online. Fantastic hotel and we had a great family room which was comfortable and peaceful . Ideally situated for the Christmas markets and for sightseeing. The staff at reception were very friendly and attentive and I would recommend this hotel in Brussels . The only thing that stops me awarding 5stars was the cost if breakfast. 26 euros each meant 104 euros for our family of four per morning was something we simply couldn't afford so we had to eat out in the morning. Apart from this we all loved the hotel,well done novatel

The location of this hotel is excellent. So close to walk for shopping, grand place and lots of restaurants. Saint Katherine metro just a few minutes walk away. We walked when arriving from central station and took just over 10 minutes. Reception friendly and an easy check in. Hotel is very clean. The rooms are very spacious and had a comfortable sleep each night. Fridge in the room but no spoons. Only issue was the dated TV, the HDMI/USB slots in the wall were loose didn't work. Checked previous reviews and this has been mentioned before but clealy not been addressed by the hotel. Would stay here again.

From the moment we got here we were treated with kindness and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in an executive room which when we go to the hotel was ready which was a bonus! We used the pool once which was really relaxing, towels are there for you to use it was clean and tidy. The hotel is located on a side street close to everything you can walk to all the attractions, lots of bars and restaurants near by. The kind hotel receptionist gave us a map and pointed out helpful ideas. I honestly can’t say anything negative about this hotel the staff are all welcoming and helpful and the hotel was clean and felt almost new.

Excellent location. Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel in an excellent location with Grand Place in spitting distance and plenty of eateries close by. Very close to the metro as well. Lobby was clean and had good clean WC facility and shoe shine machine. Bar was set back and had a lovely outside seating area. We arrived just after 3pm, normal check in time. Check in was a long wait, the queue was literally out of the door. We finally got checked in just before 4pm. We had 2 rooms, a family room and a double executive room. They placed us next door to each other. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped with wifi, plenty of plug sockets (note only 1 USB socket so bring the full plugs with you), rituals toiletries, separate toilet from shower, blackout curtains, hairdryer, ironing equipment, kettle/tea making facilities and a mini fridge. The executive room also had robes and slippers. TV had some English channels but limited. I liked the bedside tables that you could pull over the bed. The children’s beds were 2 separate pull out beds, already set out for us. Breakfast was lovely. A good selection of hot food, an interpretation of the English breakfast, continental breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, and the ubiquitous waffles/pancakes with various toppings! Good selection of fruit juice, hot drinks with pots for tea (a rare sight), milkshake and still or sparkling water. Everything was well stocked. Check out was a breeze. For those who are in a hurry there is express check out where you can drop your key in a box. They can also hold your luggage while you roam freely in the city until your departure.
