I think it’s the worst Ibis I ever try. Old and basic room. At night it’s not easy to fall asleep as we can hear people screaming and playing around the hotel. Feel unsafe after 4pm, we are follow by a stranger who yell at us and follow us to the hotel( 5pm!!)

Small, basic, tired looking room. No kettle and the shower room was tiny. Depressing, grey view over the other rooms. Very disappointed. On a positive note, reception staff were friendly and helpful. This was my first and last time at an Ibis hotel.

Additionally, the size of our shower rooms is consistent with inner-city hotel standards, aiming to maximize space while providing all necessary facilities. Regarding the view, while we cannot change the urban landscape, we do offer rooms with different views that may be more to your liking, such as street view, courtyard view, or church view. A very basic hotel with a good location, but too expensive.

The location is good but it's a very basic hotel and far too expensively for what you get. Do not pay extra for the so called 'sweet room' because they're identical to a normal room. You don't even get a kettle and the bathroom is exactly the same.

Tiny rooms and rude staff

Awful hotel rooms are tiny front of house staff are so rude! The corridors and rooms make it feel like a prison and the front desk staff are so not bothered by anything literally no customer service borderline rude. I would not recommend this hotel

Racist remarks on check-in

I rank this hotel 3rd on the 4 I bis hotels I visited during my European Tour. It's biggest pros is that it is indeed the City Centre, so you get all the benefits. The room itself is normal Ibis standard. My only issue was on check-in day. I look Indian, but I am not + I speak 7 international languages. After check-in, my wife and I went to discover our room. Unfortunately it was the furthest from the elevator (about 5-mins walk from lobby to room). So my wife and I got back down to the reception to ask for another room. The Belgian lady said to her colleague in French, "Qu'est-ce que ces deux-là veulent encore ?" in a disgusted tone. (translation: What does these two want again?") . I politely replied her in French my request to change room. She was gob smacked that I had understood her, and she ran away to her office. Her colleague took over, and saying "Astaghfirullah ", which is Arabic for "Forgive me god", he declined to change room as there was apparently no availability. I am not sure he said that for her racist colleague, or because he was disgusted too to check-in Indian looking customers. There you go, my wife and I were welcomed by racist remarks in English, French and (possibly) Arabic. I was so tired after having travelled several countries, I just let it go and went to get dinner.
