Spent a couple of nights in this hotel. Meets the criteria for 4 stars, clean, safe and staff are helpful and professional. The type of room we got had the toilet completely separate from the rest of the bathroom but with no sink, which we found bizarre, as you had to go from one space to another to wash hands. The advert says soundproof rooms I think, which is an exaggeration, perhaps sound camouflaging is better - but we had no specific issues with noise. Location is good - not directly in the city centre but very easy to access it. Would recommend if you get a good deal on the room rate, too expensive for the full rate in our opinion.

However, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced regarding the bathroom setup. We understand that the design choice of having a separate toilet without a sink can be surprising. This layout is part of our commitment to providing a unique experience, although we acknowledge it may not suit everyone's preferences. Concerning the sound insulation, while our windows are indeed double-glazed to reduce noise from the city, we appreciate your feedback on this matter and will consider your comments as we continually strive to improve our guest experience. Fantastic location. Pool and gym were very good. Breakfast was cold on both mornings which was disappointing. Tried to have a drink in the bar but it was full with reserved tables. Strange as it’s a bit Hôtel with only a handful of tables in the bar! Cleaners average at best. Towels taken and no fresh left, bin didn’t get emptied - basic. Room was nice - large. Great for location

Good stay marred by check-in experience

Excellent location for the Christmas markets. Rooms well-equipped. Our family room had a bathroom with WC separate, which was practical for four people all sharing one room. We found the breakfast to be varied and plentiful. Our only complaint was our check-in experience. Despite booking a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, we were initially sent to room 320 to find out key card didn’t work. We returned to reception to find that the receptionist had intended to write 322 on our keycard sleeve. Unfortunately this room only had one child bed, not two. We returned to reception again, where it took fully 15 minutes and five different desk staff to solve the problem and eventually assign us room 215. While this was obviously inconvenient and a bad start to our stay, what we disliked the most was that not one member of staff apologised for the inconvenience of or saw fit to explain what had gone wrong. This was very disappointing and would probably put us off from staying again.
