Nice and friendly staff always there to help or assist. Rooms are small but cover all your basic requirements. Beds are large and comfortable. It is also nice and quiet away from the city centre and on the main ring road.

Motel type establishment. Ideal for our purposes. Fairly close to city and nearby restaurant, museum, etc. Hotel facilities were restricted due to covid 19 and hotel had just recently re-opened, so no hot breakfast in morning but a continental style was provided along with hot drinks.

Refurbish needed.

Overall nice. But toilet flush was not working, room locked out many times with the key not responding. Nice Breakfast with variety of options, with Cold and Hot foods. Structure is very old though, stairs and pavements are a mess.

The hotel block is not very old as far as I am aware of.However, I understand that the style of the hotel is not suitable for all our guest's preferences. We had issues with some of the toilets and the maintenance department is working hard to upgrade the old systems which have damaged in many occasions our guest's satisfaction. I Would have been staying for four more nights throughout January but will not do so now. Also the early morning alarm call was not received. Overall a disappointing experience and would not recommend to others

Excellent Hotel,had everything we needed for a short stay. Room was very big, Shower was great lots of room and even a seat. We didnt eat in the hotel but resturant and bar is available but plenty of places near by to eat. All the staff were very nice and really helpful. Would stay again

Postcode provides road but no access as bridge blocked. Had to phone for better instructions and better postcode for satnav. Staff very helpful. Rooms look tatty on outside but very good inside. Happy to stay there.

This hotel is set in a quiet part of Coventry, within some woods. We enjoy staying here because you always get a good night's sleep. It's also close to Coventry, both by car and bus. Checking in was easy, even though it was after 8 in the evening. A friendly receptionist. The bar had a good selection of drinks. Our room was clean and tidy, and everything functioned. Breakfast, as usual, was great. Nice to see peanut butter and golden syrup were available for toast. Checking out was also easy. As usual, an enjoyable stay.

I have stayed in Ibis hotels many times on business trips and they have done a good job or renovating this hotel. You have to accept you are getting a good price for the location, rooms are clean and functional, the layout is different to most Ibis hotels in the U.K. with a balcony walkway alongside most of the bedrooms. If you can accept that this place is great value. I rated this as excellent due to the staff who are friendly, attentive and helpful. Wasn't sure if appropriate to share names but happy to do so with management if requested. I will be in the area frequently for next few months working and will stay here 100%.

staff were helpful and pleasant . everywhere was clean and tidy we would NOT recommed the breakfast, it was cold and served on cold plates . we ate one evening in the cafe. it took the cook 40 minutes to cook beefburgers and french fries cost ( 10.45 each) we were the only ones in the cafe so service should have been better. We would stay here again but no breakfast. We have stayed at Ibis hotels before and had a great breakfast

Excellent location for my visits to the midlands. The staff were polite and helpful when checking in and leaving . The hotel was in a quiet location, and the room was clean and warm. A wide range of options on the menu.

Sorry to say I expected more from the Accor\Ibis brand. Coventry south hotel, very tired. Bathroom need attention. Bed was ok. Restaurant for breakfast was very hit and miss. Had to ask staff twice to replace basics like bread, bacon and scrambled egg. I had expected more. I would not recommend or revisit. Sorry.

I have stayed at a lot of IBIS hotels and generally they are modern clean facilities and I have a comfortable stay. But this was Coventry, so I should have realised my worst vision would be realised. First let me say the restaurant, food was fantastic. The reception area was beautiful and staff lovely. But the bedroom building, which is a separate building, was a glorified 1950's motel. I thought I was transported to a Campanile and was trapped in a nightmare! Carpet is old, dirty and worn, heating barely works, at least the beds were clean. Shower had good water pressure and excellent control of water temperature. Please knock this building down and build a new one, this does you no service Accor Hotels!

Please accept our apologies for the experience you had. We'd hate to think that this experience would make you think twice about staying with us again so please have confidence that this isn't our usual standard. We take all complaints and feedback very seriously so thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

Staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are very basic and in dire need of renovation including the bath rooms. Carpets are filthy and some of the rooms have a terrible stench as you open the door. The rooms are all chalet style and can be quiet noisy from out side as people go passed.

After reading the poor reviews, we were expecting the worse. However we were pleased with what we found. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was OK, clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff kept restocking items. We would definitely use this Ibis again.

This is probably the most dated IBIS hotel I stay in, The rooms are in dire need of an overhaul, the rooms are dated (1960s). You cannot even have a pre-authorisation on your card so every meal/Drink has to be paid individually . The only good points being its location and the staff that work there.

Hard to find using post code in nav. On arrival I was told I had not paid.I argued I had as after inputting my credit card details and printing a document which said nothing to pay at hotel, I assumed I had paid. Feeling a little embarrassed and confused I was told to check my credit card statement. So I promptly used my phone went online and couldn't find any charges. After paying, we went to a freezing cold room which took over 4 hours to heat up after switching on the heater, which incidentally didn't work when first switched on as it was also turned off at the mains switch under the worktop.The shower didn't work very well I guess due to low water pressure. Then the breakfast fiasco, I was told I had only paid for one and would have to pay for another. I have no idea how you can book a room for 2 including breakfast and only get 1. Well after producing my printout again which stated super saver deal 1 room,2 adults, breakfast included, we were grudgingly allowed in only to find no bacon, sausages, eggs or mushrooms, only tomatoes! We had to wait for some 15 minutes before anything was replenished.Only for these items to run out again immediately, which wasn't surprising when they came out with only 4 sausages at a time. Other guests also complained there were no cooked items on a few other occasions whilst we were sat eating our breakfast. It was a cheap offer, so glad we did not pay full price for a really poor service!

This place really needs knocking down and rebuilding, it is not up to the usual Ibis standard and never will be due to its design. The walls are paper thin which means lots of interesting noises, to say the least, from bedrooms to the side, above and below.

Dirty carpets, chips and stains on bathroom furniture, no heating,TV not working. When I mentioned these in the morning when I left almost felt like I was being chastised for not reporting the matter earlier.

Arrived and there was no trace of my booking. Even though I had a printout of my confirmation the receptionist wanted to charge me extra to `make a manual booking'. Very slow to check in and eventually a room was given to me at the price I had booked on the Accor website. Still not sure if I have been charged twice but that will be another battle. The rooms are across the car park from the main building in a portacabin arrangement which reminded me of a very cheap American style motel. The room was cold - never did warm up enough and did not match my previous experience of Ibis rooms. Woken twice in the night by people returning and every noise on the stairwell was audible. On the plus side the bed was large and comfortable and the room clean.

The room had mould on the curtains and ingrained dirt in the carpet. The hotel looked run down. It looked like a budget hotel not and Ibis (red) I will not choose to stay in this hotel again. I have been to many hotels within Accor hotel family and this is the first time I've been disappointed at the quality of accommodation.
