Very Disappointed! Bad experience! Never back again! Trauma!

This time we stayed this hotel on November very disappointed! When rainy day, the water come through windows make the room mouldy, AC filter was filthy not working properly looks very poor management and maintenance! The bed sheet stained, we asked the cleaner to changed everyday still we got the stained sheet and top of that the towels we got was't look like towel ( grey colour and strings came out from the towels and have the name too, Yuck!) We got sick/ bad coughing when we back home! Not 2 or 3 days we stayed but 2 weeks!

This is certainly not the standard of comfort, hygiene, and maintenance that we aim to provide, and we fully understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been for you. We are particularly concerned to hear that these conditions may have affected your health after returning home. Guest well-being is our top priority, and your feedback has been shared with our management, housekeeping, and engineering teams for immediate review and corrective action. We are taking this matter seriously to ensure improvements are made and that such issues do not recur in the future. Once again, we truly apologize for your unpleasant experience and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas that require urgent attention. I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Jakarta Kota, and I want to express my appreciation for the amazing team who made my experience memorable. A special thank you to Mr. Hero (Front Office Manager) for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism. He handled everything with genuine care and made me feel truly welcomed from the moment I arrived. I would also like to recognize Ms. Mega and Mr. Hafist, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm service added so much comfort to my stay. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food, and the staff were equally pleasant and efficient. What touched me the most was the beautiful “Welcome” room decoration prepared for my arrival. It was such a kind gesture and made the stay extra special. Overall: excellent service, great food, and a team that truly goes above & beyond. I highly recommend Mercure Jakarta Kota and I look forward to staying there again!

Our room had a good view across the city. The bathroom was small, bath had a plastic shower curtain, no standalone shower unit. There was a reasonable variety of food on offer at breakfast, the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is in need of an update and modernisation. We didn't like the location as there was huge roadworks nearby which made it very difficult to walk around, pavements often blocked or nonexistant in places. A combination of dust, heat and pollution made walking very unpleasant.
