Stayed for one night as part of a business trip. Room was spacious and clean. The check in was great and the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The roof top bar is worth a visit for the views over Paris. It is very close to two metro stations.

Beautiful Rooftop View

The best feature about this hotel is the beautiful view of the Eifel Tower from the roof top lounge. Our group enjoyed cocktails and appetizers twice. The staff, cocktails and food was very good. The hotel was clean and the buffet breakfast was very nice. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and courteous. The hotel is close to the subway. We did walk to the Eifel tower. It took about an hour. The hotel itself is situated on a street/neighborhood that has a few restaurants. We did eat at a restaurant within walking distance called Duet ~ which was fabulous. There isn’t any decent shopping close by and we had trouble getting a cab/Uber one night. If you want more options, you need to be a little closer to the river. The front desk staff was not very friendly and one woman in particular was rude. My room did not have lotion or conditioner. Not a big deal, but another couple we were with said they had both in their room. I asked the woman at the front desk and she said “We don’t provide that”. I told her that my friend’s room had it and her response was “She’s lucky”.

Disappointing end to the stay

I booked this hotel for my partners 30th Birthday, I was taking him to Paris for the weekend and to see a football match. The only reason this has 3 stars is due to the staff i encountered whilst i was there, who were polite and helpful. I had paid extra for a duluxe double room, and to say this was the most disappointing room i have ever stayed in is an understatement. It was a cupabord, our bathroom door didn't shut properly, the faucet in the bath fell off, there was no bath plug. Please bare in mind this was supposed to be recently updated! This hotel cost, what is to me, a lot of money and to be honest I feel like i should of saved some and stayed somewhere else. I spoke to someone whilst there and was told it was a duluxe room and there was nothing they could do, i also sent in a correspondance upon my return to share my thoughts and feelings but I have not received a reply at all (this was in August) To not even ackownledge me is rude and disappointing and really dampened my thoughts on the customer service. It seems they are relying souly on their roof top bar as a feature, but once you're staying in the hotel or checked out they reslly don't want anything to do with you. Truly disappointing! Some friends and family members are planning a trip to Paris and instead of being able to offer them a good referral of a place to stay, I am now telling them to stay somewhere else. Paris was lovely and we had a great trip, but i feel that was only because we spent all day out the hotel for fear of tripping over each other. Other issues we faced were, tea and coffee not topped up the entire time we were there, kettle had to be plugged in next to my side of the bed as there were no other sockets anywhere near the placement of the kettle and we had to ask for cups as there were none in our room, to be presented with paper cups. In the end we went down the road to tthe shop and bought drinks etc in there so we could have something in our room. Paris is lovely but I would not stay here again! They will not even acknowledge you if you have an issue

No outlet in the bathroom to plug in your small appliances such as curling irons. Only available in the executive rooms. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be on full blast which meant that the rooms were a bit stuffy. It was mentioned to the desk clerk which came to the room to investigate. Determined that it would not get any cooler, he offered me a fan which was much appreciated. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly

I have waited two months to write a review for this place in the hope that the hotel would do right by me as a customer but it is clear they won't. A second bad Novotel experience in a short time. Really hard to know where to start in commenting on this place. If you aren't in a tour group they don't care. Like other reviewers we had a terrible experience, even though we booked the most expensive room with the Eiffel Tower view . The view isn't worth it, just go up to the bar though the bar staff were very rude. The furniture is cheap and nasty. We had broken air conditioning, non functioning English TV channels, water pouring through the ceiling, rude staff who didn't speak much English and staff just walking into the room. To shut me up they promised me refunds but would not do them while I was there. The refunds did not happen and many emails get no response. They owe me over 400 euros. If you contact Accor they refer you to the hotel so there is no actual support. We booked this hotel only because other options were sold out. I would not return nor recommend. I can also be sure that the managers of the hotel will not care what this review says because they have many bad reviews which they do not deal with properly. This is an expensive hotel that in no way justifies the price they charge.
