From when we talked into Mt Lofty to when we left, the experience was amazing, the staff were always helpful and accommodating. Food and wine were on pair with similar places that offer a degustation and wine pairing. Very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our neds. Cannot fault anything.

We had stayed at this hotel’s sister restaurant, Reef House, and Mount Lofty House was recommended by them. So we expected the same standard but were sadly mistaken. The room, the cleanliness , the quality of the public areas were all fine, as were the staff, particularly Lygia and Pietro. The restaurant is is not a la carte as suggested . One must pay for two or three courses and too bad if you want less. The inflexibility extended even further when , after returning from dinner elsewhere and hoping to have a glass of wine and desert in the by now more than half- empty restaurant , we were refused. We will not return.

Outstanding service from all the staff and the food was excellent. Christopher and Pietro were outstanding and the degustation dinner on Hardy’s Verandah was first class. The hotel views and ambience were ideal for a weekend escape and I couldn’t recommend this more!

A long-envisioned 4-night stay exceeded our every expectation…. Mostly because of the unforced and natural quality of smiles and service in every encounter. From the genuinely warm reception welcome from Jenna & Kimberleigh (?), to the delightful service in the main restaurants, and the easy going and friendly (nothing too hard) attitude of the breakfast staff. The historic, warm and inviting amenities and facilities were just as welcoming.

This place is heaven , everything was perfect , can’t wait to go back , from the warm welcome to the casual bar dinner and the most amazing dinner at Hardy’s Verandah restaurant , even the bar food was amazing and service 10/10 everywhere , gorgeous piccadilly room , Chris is a fabulous host for the welcome tour with champagne and a MUST Do while your there
